Whoa...that is incredible. How did they manage to pull that off??
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
Hai NamcoBandai? This is Bill Gates, I know that your gonna be releasing teh Soul Calibur 4 soon. Whai not re-release the first one on XBLA and make teh 2k monies from teh fanboi's!!1! XBLA has like eleventy million fanbois! Is a total win win! kthnx baibai!
I totally think it went down something like that. If it didn't go down like that then someone from MS suggested it to NamcoBandai and got the ball rolling, or vice versa. I'd be a happy person if they can get it mostly lag free if they take it online.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

good news anyway, I wish they would have online multiplayer... oh well.
To be this good takes AGES
To be this great takes SEGA!!
I can't wait...although I already have the US and Japanese Dreamcast versions. But the minor updates will be nice. And like those before me have said, online multiplayer would have been off the heezy for sheezy.

And yet we still bought and played them(the first two Smash Brothers and the last several Mario Karts come to mind) anyway. So yes, online would have been wayyy better Daria, but sometimes we take what we can get .

Having it in widescreen, and in HD, is good enough for me. The DC version (which is the version they will be porting) was a surprisingly deep game.
Namco is notorious for not including online multiplayer in their XBLA games. And the one title that does, was overflowing with bugs.
And sometimes we save our money for titles with a little more thought put into them. (:
If you absolutely loved the game, yes I can see buying it again. But I still think it's a half assed gesture releasing a versus fighting game to the arcade without online multiplayer. It's just a feature I would normally think of as a given.
VC games are a little more forgivable as in general online on the Wii sort of blows. But then again I'm not buying old N64 titles either. Mostly imports and Turbografx games.
