I just got around to watching his review of The Wizard of Oz. I really wish I had DSL at my house, so I can watch AVGN videos a little more regularly...
I see! 1997 by John Dondzila, eh? I wasn't aware people were doing Coleco ROM hacks back then.
Is it just the graphics that are different, or the music too? (I rather liked the music in Venture, but anything would be better than that endlessly-looping craziness after the fifth screen in Mouse Trap.)

OMG, that last episode was total madness. Loved it!
GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY NINTENDO!
The last 5 minutes of this episode made up for any lacking over-the-top ridiculous comedy portions in the IntelliVision/ColecoVision reviews.
Not that I didn't enjoy the Double Vision videos ... but this this one was great in a totally different way, it was like a mash-up of everything he does well. Pointing out things about movies we've seen that we might not have otherwise noticed, solid reviews of NES games, and awesome comedy segments.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
The latest episode was perfect. Like Frankie said, the ultimate blend of his love of film and video games. CRAZY SHIT!!!!
The take-home message is that those things are not to be referred to as "rotodiscs", but nuclear waffles.
Nuclear waffles! Brilliant!

NESorries....
My zapper still works and it was circa 1985. He is missing a LOT of other crappy ones. He had to do the dumb joke to please too many fan requests. The U force worked? What no satellite or 4 controller port items?
ROB is on the horizon....not a bad episode.

Not bad. Passed the time agreeably, and was actually the first time I've ever seen a U-Force in action, even though I must have bought/sold 100 of them used during my Funco days. Kind of makes me want one for my collection.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
In the late 1980s, my friend across the street got a U-Force. I remember it cost around $70. We were excited to try it out, but quickly became frustrated and disappointed because it didn't work. It was another useless gimmick.
EDIT: I just finished watching the NES Accessory video. I honestly don't know how the Nerd got the U-Force to work as decently as he did. I'm stunned!

Another entertaining video. Nintendo is certainly the king of crappy accessories; the sad part is that I actually had most of them at one time or another.
Hey tonight's episode was great. The last few had too much "funny" acting sequences - they get old fast. Tonight's didn't have any of the shit, just stuck with video game stuff and it was funny. Loved it.
By the way, I've never had trouble with a SNES Super Scope, I've always found them great. Could it be something with his TV?
I'd love to see someone wearing the Konami LaserScope as headphones in public.
I don't know, maybe some Super Scopes were just bad out of the box? I remember buying one the first week they came out and mine wouldn't work properly either, so I ended up taking it back for a refund. I bought a Sega Menacer (which was like the Genesis version of the Super Scope) later on and it worked fine.

I've got three NES zappers (gray, red and third party) and they all still work good. And I've got a TV similar to his. Hmm...
Looks like the text came off his Miracle keyboard too (the one that lists which buttons = instruments)
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?
I like these ones where he tackles a bunch of items on a single video.
Another great video. Nothing overly fancy, just humorous reviews of NES accessories.

It's probably visible in his videos, but I can't help notice the Battletoads poster behind him. I am sure that game would get his hackles up!
Chet: It's futuristic, but that's a crate.
