I think mine was one of them:
35 or so Boxed and/or complete SNES games for $5 each about 15 months ago
Had Harvest Moon, Earthbound, both lufia's, breath of fires, all the square rpg's, ogre battle, all 3 Donkey Kongs, Contra III, Metal Warriors, and a bunch of others. Got to pick and choose from about 200 or so total ones.

Bought for $165 and sold for $1500 or so.
Then about 3 years ago 150 N64 games all in box about 1/2 complete for $1 each, that I sold for probably $1K

Picked up a nice Warcraft III Reign of Chaos collectors edition (CIB, yup everything) yesterday along with the Frozen Throne expansion. Cost $12 and the CD keys aren't in use so I've been playing WC3 for the second time since it was released (borrowed it from a friend for a few days to try it).

I never go to the swap meet or garage sales with any expectation to find anything. Don't wanna disappoint myself by hyping myself up.
Stuff I got these few days
Metroid Prime 3 Wii - $9.89
Battalion Wars 2 Wii - $9.89
Innocent Life PS2 - $18
Bomberman Land PSP - $20
Unreal Tournament III Collector Edition - $20 (not in pic)
UMD movies - $10 each
Conker GBC - $1.99
.:Collection Pics:.
FINALLY after 2 1/2 years of looking in the wild, I found a Valkyrie Profile PS1. It was at a classic game store out here in MA, and it cost me $80, AND it has no instructions, but I've always wanted to find it in the wild and $80 for that is well worth it to me for how long I've been searching.
At the same store I also found:
Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo Saturn for $25 (been searching a long time for this too)
Samurai Spirits RPG for Neo Geo CD $15
I spent a good amount, but I found games that were essential to have for my collection. I want that store to stay open as long as possible so I'm willing to pay the prices there rather than E-Bay.
Pawn shop:
- Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare (XBOX360) = $15.90
going to flip it at Gamestop and put it towards my MGS4 reserve to get 30% more trade-in credit....i'll get about $33 out of the CoD4.
I found a complete Genesis Menacer 6-in-1 cart for a $1.99 at the Salvation Army over the weeked.
(I would have posted earlier but I forgot. )
In Heaven, everything is fine.
I received the Resident Evil Essentials pack (RE4, RE:CV-X, & RE:Outbreak) that I ordered from Walmart.com. I should have bought it a few months back when I saw it in person as I was unable to find it in stores after looking for a couple of weeks and had to settle for the online order.
Local ma & pa video store going out of business sale:
King of Kong DVD (like new) - $5
Genny games in box - $5/each:
General Chaos (no instructions)
Power Monger
Road Rash 2
Got a couple other DVDs, too, but this is the gaming-related stuff. Tempted to go back and pick up some more NES/SNES/Genny stuff...
If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it!
After a tip from a friend, I went to a nearby charity shop and they had a number of games for sale, I picked up:
- Sonic Adventure (DC)
- Sonic Adventure 2 (DC)
- Quackshot (MD)
- Land Of illusion (GG)
All CIB, £1.99 each!
Also picked up a Dreamcast Keyboard for £3.
At a garage sale today: N64 controller, 2 disk drives for a Commodore 64, A Commodore 64, Atari 2600 paddles, about 10 Atari 2600 Games ( common basic games ), about 10 records or so. $5
Fatal Frame for XBOX- $10 @ Cash America Pawn. Also picked up a memory card for N64 for $3 @ Play N Trade. I was also gonna buy some NES sleeves there because I bought them a few weeks ago for .50 each. Today... well they had marked them up to 2.99 each. That's bullshit considering the clear plastic rental cases are still .50 cents. No Thanks.
Nothing fantastic, but for local standards pretty cheap :
N64 Cart+Manual (in plastic rental boxes, all PAL)
A Bug's Life
F-Zero X
Zelda OoT
DK64
F1 World GP
CyberTiger
Chameleon Twist
DKR
B-K
World Cup '98
Pokemon Stadium 2
N64 Boxed
Pokemon Stadium
Turok Rage Wars
An Atari Jaguar with one controller and the powersupply.
A big pile of common 2600 games.
Some Atari XE games.
The N64 stuff was for 60$
The Atari stuff 35$
Can't compete with your finds but I'm happy
NES games from last weekend at a garage sale in Green Bay along with 3 Genesis games ( McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure (r6), Shadow Dancer (both complete), and forgot the third (loose)). They were all marked $2 each, which totaled to $78 and I paid 65. A fair amount of junk in there, but some stuff I needed, too, like Snake Rattle and Roll, RoboCop 3, Shinobi, Captain Planet, and Back to the Future II&III. Sorry for the lousy pic.
This is stuff from today. NOLF (what a great game) was $5 at GW, Dark Forces was 4 at a thrift where I passed on a bunch of okay stuff (CTR, Tekken3, Tony Hawk, etc), and the GBASP w/ games was 45 from 50 (wouldn't take 40 ). DVD was a buck. Guess you can't read the games, they are: Castlevania Adventure, Pokemon Blue, R-Type DX, Final Fantasy Legend II, Drgnball Z legacy Goku, Pokemon FireRed, BeyBlade, SW Lego, SW Flight of the Falcon, Spider-Man, Sonic Advance, Super Dodgeball Advance, YuGiOh, quad desert fury, Final Fight One, Dragon Ball Z Taiketsu, Lego bionicle, and TMNT.
Hey guys,
Man it has been a while since I posted anything. WOOT to lurking!
Anyhow, would you guys say $500 is a good deal for 300 assorted PS1,PS2,XBOX,N64,Sega games? I know it is kind of ambiguous because I don't even know what the games all are yet (a ton of N64 and Sega would be great), but I am just asking in general???
The guy said he will send me a full list soon, supposedly they all have original paperwork and boxes.
I am just hoping for no sports games :/
Mike
