My desire to move out of my parents house a buy a place of my own is getting stronger by the day.
Not sure if I want to part with it or not...but I figured I would check on the current value as I know its the most expensive thing in my collection.

Personally, if I had the money, I'd make an offer...it's one thing I need for my collection.

For something this rare I would definitely start out on the high end and work your way down. If it's in excellent shape ask for $4000. After awhile if there aren't any bites start taking offers. Or just take offers in the first place, I'm sure there are a number of people here who would love to buy it. I definitely wouldn't take less than $2000 though unless the label is bad.
I'd keep it. You may not like living with your parents, but you will eventually move out. Whats the chance of scoring another NWC? You might live with that regret for a long time.

Are the gray carts down in value? I could have swore I read a thread here that said they were going for $3,000 to $6,000, just a few months ago.
Why don't you post a pic of it so we can see the condition?

I've seen this one, it's in good condition. Not mint, but much better than all of the nasty ones I always see on ebay.
If you aren't attached to it and don't think you will regret it, I would say you should set a high end goal price and do not sell it until you can get that much. Tell yourself you won't sell until you can get $6k for it, or something like that. Every $0.20 listing day on ebay, put it up for that firm price; let it be known it's for sale, but non-negotiable.
Yeah, I agree. It's worth exactly what someone else is willing to pay. Find the right buyer and you'll get over four, five, maybe six grand for it. Let me give you a little advice though. If you want to move out of your parents house and you have to sell something to make that happen, you're probably doing something wrong...unless selling that thing eliminates bills, like selling an expensive car. Go work more hours. Get a second job. Do it the right way. If you're tired of living with your parents and you don't think you can take it anymore...then you waited too long before you started getting prepared to move out. So you're just getting started late...that doesn't change the way it should be done. Work for the money, man. Selling your shit is an ugly road to take.

It's a little hard to work more hours when he owns his own video game store, which owns and operates 7 days a week and is doing the best he can. I don't think there is room for him to get a second job either...I'd love to see Nick move out of his parents' house and into his own place, so I could go wreck his house as well as his store.
