    Default Virtual Boy display problem.

As some of you may know, my Virtual Boy doesn't display on the right screen, which I have narrowed down to either the adhesive being 13 years old and pulled the display down with it, or that a bump/drop in shipping or by the seller simply caused the screen to dislodge. He DID say both screens worked when he sent it, so I'm thinking it's the latter because the thing rattles when shaken.

I'm guessing all I have to do it open it up and plug the display back in? I could also do the oven trick if needed.

The problem I had was just finding a NES head screwdriver that was thin enough to get all the way down in there. My original screwdriver was a security screwbit case and the magnetic locking head was wider then the hole. I had to buy a dedicated Nintendo security screwdriver.

I was never able to fix mine but I found one at a flea just a few months later. For a device that is supposed to be portable these cannot be thrown around much.

All of them rattle when shaken, but the oven trick should fix it.

Yeah, I don't think I even need to do that, I think I just need to pop the display back in.

um, they don't use "displays. it's a column of 224 LED's with a rotating mirror, sorta like how a laser printer works.
