Another one here that just started playing Dragon Quest IV (DS).
Holy crap, as I was writing this message I heard the loudest crash of thunder ever! I nearly pissed my pants.

I'm just barely shy of beating Metal Walker on my Game Boy Advance SP now. The game even tells the player that he/she is about to enter the final dungeon. :P I also found a few secrets in the game once I had all the upgrades. I found special Core Units for both Land and Sky, and I assume there is a Water one out there somewhere (probably wherever my missing recipes are too). I'll use a guide to find the last few missing pieces since I'm an obsessive collector like that, but I'm looking forward to moving on to something with greater lasting appeal.
I also finally tried out Chaos Wars for PlayStation 2, and everything I heard about the localization is true. The dubbing done by family members of the staff rather than real actors is just atrocious. Thank heavens they included the Japanese voice acting. I promptly restarted and switched to Japanese, but even then the text is near incoherent. I haven't seen a localization this poor since the SNES days. Where the heck were the editors? Oh well, I buy strategy RPGs for the gameplay anyway, and while this doesn't seem like a shining example of the genre, it was still worth getting.
Just rock band 2 for me recently and probably for awhile.
I have changed from Sonic CD, Now im playing Super Star Wars on my FC Twin.

As always, I am bad at this type of game, and abuse God Mode quite regularly.

I've been doing research for Classic Home Video Games Vol. 2, so I've been keeping my NES fired up pretty much around the clock (okay, just a few hours a day, but you get the idea).

Legend of Kage
Star Force
Millipede
Hollywood Squares
Legendary Wings
NGPC:

3DO - Star Control II
Damn this game is awesome! I played for about two hours before telling myself to turn the 3DO off and come back to it once I don't have any other long-haul games on the agenda. It reminds me of Solar Winds coupled with the go anywhere, do anything gameplay of Wing Commander Privateer. The sheer size of the universe alone opens up near endless exploration possibilities. Makes me even happier that I dug through the commons in the back of my favorite vendor's stall at the flea market - excellent game, especially for $1.00.
SMS - HangOn / Safari Hunt
SMS - SpellCaster
Quick plays of each, just making sure they work. HangOn / Safari Hunt will complete the SMS I have up for sale. I played both my copies of SpellCaster, the new boxed complete one I will be keeping and my old loose copy which will go up for sale.
SCD - Dark Wizard
SCD - Dungeon Master II Skullkeep
Quick plays of these as well. If I do decide to really play Dungeon Master II I'm going to need to buy (yet another, I keep selling them) SCD Backup Cartridge since it requires 100 blocks and won't start without the open space. Dark Wizard looks very interesting, a SRPG that I'd actually like it seems. Smooth, relaxing gameplay.
NES - Hollywood Squares
NES - Kid Kool
NES - Kiwi Kraze
NES - Metroid
NES - TaleSpin
Just making sure they all work after cleaning, which they all do. Hollywood Squares is probably my favorite NES game show game, been years since I had played a cartridge of it. Kid Kool sucks as much as ever and I could never get used to the crappy pallete of Kiwi Kraze but I'm glad to have them both. Metroid and TaleSpin are both going up for sale.
SAT - NiGHTS into Dreams...
Again, just making sure it works before it goes up for sale, which it does.
