Bootleg Minish Cap? (Gamestop find)

I guess i'll chime in here. My gamestop usually doesn't have bootlegs so i was suprised to see one day a copy of Getaway for PS2 but the cover and the back art was printed out on a regular piece of printer paper and stuck inside the case. I didn't say anything but i just don't know how they get through sometimes.

This is even more common. Not a pirate, just a legit game with facsimile packaging. Hey, it's better than sharpie titles in bad handwritting.

I was bored hanging out at a friend's gamestop waiting for him to leave, so i went through the GBA games and pulled out the bootlegs. 15-20 in all. Some of them were priced as "Generic GBA" because there was no such title in the system.

I'm just curious how they get over here. Is there really that big a market for people to smuggle in bootleg GBA carts and launder them through Gamestops, or is Gamestop buying them outwright from the pirates?

Like I said earlier, they're probably traded in from people who bought them off of ebay or at flea markets.
