I polished off Metal Walker on my Game Boy Advance SP after beating the game and completing my Scan Data list as much as I can. Even though you can't actually recruit the enemies, I guess Capcom wanted to be annoying and rip off Pokemon since it seems that the list can't be completed without linking up with another player. You have to pick a transceiver at the beginning of the game - green or red - and apparently you can't encounter every monster in the game on either. The whole system is kinda dumb to begin with since the only thing you get from scanning monsters is the ability to buy a capsule unique to that enemy, but virtually no capsules are needed in the game beyond the HP recovery items. Other than that, all I ever really bought were Analyzers (to scan the data) and the item that reduces the encounter rate. Battle-only items are pretty useless since a normal attack is generally stronger, and even if you have a powerful item, you're just as likely to get screwed over by the enemy getting to it first. Oh well, anyway, time to retire this game and move on.
And keeping with the whole bouncing a ball around and collecting monsters theme, I decided to start Pokemon Pinball as my next Game Boy game. So far I'm having a lot of fun with it, catching a bunch of Pokemon and getting the evolutions of a few. This is still what Pokemon is to me - the original 150 monsters. The only other Pokemon game I own is Pokemon Blue, so I haven't kept up with the franchise much at all. And the only time I ever watched the show was when it was brand new. I lost interest in that long before they got to the newer additions to the line-up. Granted, I'm sure it didn't help that I wasn't a little kid. :P
Oh, and I forgot to mention in my last post that I played a tiny bit of Puzzle Link on Neo Geo Pocket Color. I was just messing around with one of the systems I had lent out and finally got back.
I downloaded Mega Man 9 today, so I've been playing that. One more boss remains...Hornet Man. Also still playing Dragon Quest IV (DS).
Max Payne 2 on Xbox finally. Why the hell did they change the controls?

Revisiting The Orange Box. Gonna go back through all the episodes in order.
Bought it. Pretty much left it alone for a long while, seeing as how I've beat the PC version (of HL2) at least 6 times.
Since the last time I posted, I played Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, Capcom Classics Vol. 2 and King of the Fighters 2003 on Xbox and Bangai-O on Dreamcast.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
Wait Sonic Chronicles doesn't release until 9/30...how are you playing that one already, is there a demo or something out that I am unaware of?
As for what I've been playing....it's all been the same as my last post:
- ESPN NFL 2k5 (PS2) -- I always start playing this (the best football game ever done) after I watch a few regular season games...it just puts me in the mood.
- Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (PSP) -- just started the 5th and final chapter.
- Resistance Fall of Man (PS3) -- been playing through co-op mode with my friend and we just finishes it last night.
- World of Warcraft (PC) -- little bored for now...just waiting on the expansion!
Wii: Megaman 9 (along with the majority of the planet)
DS: Still playing Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja
PSP: Wipeout Pulse
More Max Payne 2.

I'm also working on Persona 3 (PS2), Bionic Commando Rearmed (360), The World Ends With You (DS), Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol (DS), and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts (GBA).
DS:
Time Hollow
Sonic Chronicles
Lego Star Wars II (Gamecube)
I also just got in Dragon Quest IV (DS), so that will be played heavily now for about a month or so.
More Pokemon Pinball on my Game Boy Advance SP. It's very addictive, but I'm getting frustrated that I can't keep my games going longer. I really like pinball video games (and pinball, period), but I can't seem to get especially good at any of them. It just all seems too random to me, yet there are people who can play practically indefinitely so there's gotta be a way to stay in complete control. I don't know how I'm ever going to last long enough to get the rarer Pokemon in the locations you have to work to get to. I've only gotten to the second group of locations twice by pure luck. Anyway, I have about 60 Pokemon now, and it's starting to get a bit tough encountering ones I don't already have. I'm still missing plenty of evolutions, though, so I have to recapture those ones regardless.
Max Payne 2 and Spy Hunter on Xbox.

While everyone is playing their beloved MM9 (...sigh, someday..), I am continuing along with...
GC - Mega Man Network Transmission
Yup, still goin' strong. I just got to the "old net" level or whatever it's called--can't really describe more than that, as I don't want to spoil anything for those who still want to play it...I think I'm pretty far along though? I've fought quite a few "bosses", and the difficulty is kind of hit or miss on them. Some i'll be fighting over and over, but some I beat on the first try. Getting farther in the game so far hasn't really effected the boss difficulty (Network Transmission has a little more linear gameplay than the avg MM games...though there are parts where you can pick the level). As someone who enjoyed the Battle Network series...I'm enjoying this continuing storyline so far.
Edit: Ok, lie... I forgot I did play more than one game this past week
XBOX - Blinx: Time Sweeper
Actually a pretty good game. I've shunned it for quite some time now (I got it for free a long time ago)..but now I picked it back up recently because I was in the mood for some of that good ol' 3d-platformer action. I didn't realize how long it's been since I played one! The jewel combo/time theme adds a nice twist to a crowded genre
The Typing of the Dead on Dreamcast. So happy to finally have this; I've been playing it on the PC for a while but it's no fun seeing your character with a Dreamcast strapped to his back when you're playing the game on a computer.
Also, a little bit of OoT after my 360 took a shit. Decided I was going to hook up my 64 to my 47" LCD and man, was that a bad idea. Looks like an absolute muddy mess on a screen that big. Just added insult to injury since I was trying to get over my 360 blues until I decide what to do about that.
