You know me. I did my research...watched as you became the soldiers we needed you to be.

Like the others, you were strong, and swift, and brave. A natural leader.

But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me.

    Can you guess?

    ...Luck.

I guess this makes it official. No more AAA sequels are coming out for the 360 in 2009. No Halo 4, no GTA5, no COD6 (I'm sure we'll have plenty of cookie cutter "garbage" sequels, i.e. 2 Rock Bands, 3 Guitar Hero's). Hmmm. All we're getting is short "expansions" i.e. GTA downloadable content, this new Halo 3 chapter.
The next Call of Duty from Inifinity Ward is due in the Fall of 2009. Who cares about Halo or GTA, you'll get online expansions and they were never annual franchises anyways.

COD6 is 2010. Also, I didn't say anthing about annual franchises. I said these games are 1 per generation. At least this new Halo release looks like an almost full length game rather than a DLC add-on for Halo 3.

2009, that DP thread and 1 source was incorrect I think. Some members of Activision are still saying 09, and I only ever saw the delay rumor at smaller sites.

CoD6 date has not been finalized, but you can damn well assume it'll be just before christmas '09.

On the topic of Halo 3: Recon, I'm really excited to see where Bungie goes with it. From the trailer and everything I've read it seems like it's going to be more of a stealthy take on the Halo universe which will be new. Advertising a Halo FPS that feels and looks the same as the first 3 would have been such a disappointment.
