Default Do you play games on your pda?

I don't have a pda (phone, pocketpc, etc.), but I need an answer to this question about games for these mobile devices. I'm not talking about emulators or n-gage cartridges.

If you already played games on your pda, tell me where did you get these games and which model of pda you did use to play them. and tell me if it's true that java games for mobile phone are better than flash lite games.
Long time no see. Still playing my coleco games?

I would like to hear as well. I have a Treo 700W Phone and thought about using emulators on it but any links to good games to install would be awesome. I am getting bored with solitaire.

There are some nice games for Mobile Phones, like the Another World (Out of This World).

    GetJar
    PalmGear
    Handango

Java games are easy to develop (for a broad range of devices) and could be send to other Mobile Phones at will. Most of the games do not even need to be registered on-line to play, it is possible to copy the download to a memory card and start playing the game (there are several options to install games)

Some Mobile Phones could use PDA games.

I recently purchased Super Monkey Ball for the iPhone 3G. It's pretty good, but the controls are a little too sensitive.

I certainly think the iPhone has the potential for some very unique gameplay using the accelerometer and touch screen. It's certainly begging for a lot more creativity than is currently being released.

Totally agree with you. The controls on Monkey Ball are a little chunky but there's real potential with the iPhone/iPod Touch. I would never honestly play through a mobile game like I would a 360 or even a DS game but the really simple games for the iPhone are perfect time wasters.

Default or people playing pda games

For those of you who play games on PDA. I want to know...

Is it complex to download and/or transfer games in your PDA? And don't forget to mention which model of PDA you have because they don't all use the same technology.

It is easy to transfer games, just copy the roms to the memory card. The only bad thing is that the controls are too hard with the N95 buttons. I wish so bad i had a mini bluetooth control pad that would clip onto the bottom of my phone.

I play some java games but mostly classic games.

I used to play many of the PDAMill Palm games when I had a Palm Treo or a Zodiac. Most of them were of the Puzzle/Board Game variety. They discontinued their Palm lineup quite some time ago, however, and I got an iPhone when they hit the market.

Now that the App Store has games showing up for the iPhone I've purchased a couple of $1 titles but not much else.

They remade a bunch of Infocom stuff for PDAs awhile back - Shadowgate, Deja Vu, The Uninvited... I never bought em but they looked neat.

These days I mainly play solitaire

I think Palm Treo is not expensive with a 2 years contract with Rogers, I have a question for you then. Did you play games written in Java for PDA with your Treo?

I need experience in embedded java application for smartphones. I started to use the Java micro edition kit this week and I may need a few testers with different pda to know if it's playable.
