Default Some Contacts missing on my FF Cart?

I bought FF for the NES the other day and when I opened it to clean it I noticed some contacts to be missing, (about 4 located in the center). The game boots up fine but I was wondering if it would effect the game play at all later on?

Actually, it looks like he hot-linked that from another site.

I went through the same thing, Silvafox.

I bought a Genesis game one time and noticed it didn't have connectors in all the areas. I opened the game and saw that the areas that didn't have connectors wouldn't connect to the game, even if they did. That means, as the picture demonstrates, there is nothing to worry about.

Those "missing" pins simply aren't used, regardless if they are on the cartridge or not. That's about the only thing separating a Famicom cartridge from an NES cartridge physically.
