Hell. Yes.
I hit a couple of thrifts since I was in the area, and lo and behold, in the same thrift store I found a Coleco Donkey Kong desktop game, I found a Pac-Man desktop! This one doesn't have the peeling decals of my Donkey Kong, but (here's a shock!) there's no battery door and there's some corrosion on the battery terminals, which thankfully looks to be easy to clean off. You can't beat a deal like that for $3.93. The joystick doesn't register the up position and the Pac-Man graphics don't work on the left side of the screen. According to the Handheld Museum, it should be fixable.

Picked up a Genesis Model II (minus the original box) for 50 cents at a thrift store. Also found the CD of "Pac-Man Fever" for $1 at a consignment store. Been looking for that CD for a while now -- the songs are just as cheesy as I remember them.
Bweeheehee. I'm soooooooooooo glad I did not go to return that game today.
$10 for all that.
Beyond Good & Evil (PC) complete
Hellfire + Diablo
American McGee's Alice
Callahan's Crosstime Saloon (CD + manual)
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy manual (I couldn't find the game)
Oh, and these too:
The guy also had strategy guides for GoldenEye, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Anachronox, Oni, Jet Force Gemini, Starfox 64, Super Mario 64... and tons of Matrix and T3 figures. Who knows where he got the stuff.
But I got some good games, and with Christmas coming up...
This is probably the best "finds" day I've ever had:
FF 7, non GH, discs have a little play wear but nothing that looks too heinous.
$0.99
Chrono Cross, same as above 7.99
Ninja Gaiden (NES) and Street Fighter II (SNES) $2 each
Picked up FF7 at one of the Goodwills I hit regularly of all places, and I almost had myself talked out of driving that far. Long day, crappy weather, but I had to go to my credit union, and there's a branch just a couple blocks down the street from this particular store. Good thing I went, eh? The other three games I picked up at my local buyselltrade game shop and used store credit.

Hunting down to the last breath!
Weird find of the day: Time from time I volunteer at a thrift store, today I was going through the magazines seeing which ones I want to take home and read. Well I came across two black wrapper magazines....new issue of Playboy December 2008. Well the kicker to this story is that they have a video game spread of virtual women from different games like Afro Samurai and Saints Row 2. I am going to read it for the articles...really.
I got Left 4 Dead for the PC for $15, pretty sweet find.
My boyfriend came from chicago with him he brought
SimAnt
Boxed copy of Rygar
Boxed copy of Bomberman 64 (japanese!)
Stinger
and Nintendo Power issue #57, that's right, the Super Metroid Poster!
I'm so happy right now.
That reminds me of when I was at a thrift a couple years back and spotted a few blank DVD cases, each with a disc in them, marked at $1 each. The first two I opened up had your standard theatrical fare in them. I open up the last case... and there's a Hustler movie DVD in there.
That's the only time I've ever found porn at a thrift store.
(And no, I didn't buy it.)

Kitsune Sniper -- great score with those strategy guides ... but in particular I'm envious of your acquisition of "American McGee's Alice." Never tried it but I've heard it's really messed up (but in a good way.) Congrats!
Oh, I already own that! I bought it years ago at a Wal-Mart for like seven bucks. A jewel case rerelease with the censored artwork, but still a good price. It's an AWESOME game which I never beat... maybe I should try it again.
The copy I got will be sold on eBay. *grins*

While not exactly a "game", I did pick up a copy of Ben Heckendorn's book, 'Hacking Video Game Consoles', for $6.99 at my local Ollie's discount outlet.
