Music Machine for the 2600
One of TGL Labs fightin games that were the last on the list of imported Japanese games for the original PS1 was none other than Advanced Variable Geo 2.
The anime of it came in 1997 then redubbed and repacked again for sale in 2007 by another group, but the game was a rare gem. Not only did it boasted some of the finest, animated, yet curvaceous ladies in an all-girl fighting game, it also posed some of the finest combos ever invented out of a blue.
Not only is it as popular as the present fighting games, it was destinged to have a sequel afterwards, but wasn't finalized by the company.
It is in its old PS1 format case and my friends and I have a blast with it everytime we have a chance.
Only Variable Geo Neo, the anime, came out several years after as a "sequel" with a different story and situation ten years after the 1st VG tournament, plus an entirely different cast.
Year of the RED CYCLONE!
Street Fighter 4 = Zangief's Piledriving you to another level of Canvas! Bolshoi Tavieda!

At this point, sadly Action 52 for the NES. I had other, much rarer stuff, but I had to give up collecting for a few months.
Two R7s;
Speed Racer PSX CIB
Super Turrican 2 SNES loose
Got my Bubble Bobble Part 2 (R6) a few weeks ago. Now I only need Little Samson (R6) and Bionic Commando (don't ask how I don't have this, I've encountered it numerous times. Always thought I already had it. ). Then I'm done collecting for US NES carts. Almost done with SMS (3 left), Genny (5 left), SNES (4 left), TG16 (3 left) and N64 (1 left) too. Then it's on to imports for a focus.

Don't mind at all and personal sets, of course! I may pick up a few extra cheapies here and there even after I'm 'finished'. It's just the end of major wants for the cart systems I set out for. Besides, I'm not devoted enough to own stuff like Shaq-Fu and Bebe's Kids. I take 'em loose mostly, keeping things within reason expediture wise. Here's the list though anywho;
NES was covered but...
Bionic Commando
Little Samson
SMS
Power Strike
Power Strike 2
Fantasy Zone
GEN
Fire Shark
MUSHA
Punisher
Streets of Rage 3
Splatterhouse 3
EDIT: forgot about Super Fantasy Zone... it was missing off my list, somehow.
SNES
R-Type 3
Pocky and Rocky 2
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Metal Warriors
TG16
Soldier Blade
Sinistron
Military Madness
N64
F Zero X
Some are easy/cheap finds, most arn't though. A few are HTF and expensive. Power Strikes and Little Samson specificly have been troublesome...

Nothing to big for my collection thus far, the highest two that I have currently are...
DinoCity - SNES (Cart only, but no flaws on the cart. Had it since I was 8)
Strider - SMS (Complete... was sitting on the shelf at Digital Press in the summer and scooped it up)
I also have a misprint/miscut version of God of War II (kept sealed, of course), but for the life of me, I haven't found any other copies of this, so I am at a total loss as to the value of it.
I don't have anything crazy. Panzer Dragoon Saga for Saturn is it probably.
This is what it is...
I'm holding onto it for good, regardless. Bought it at launch and kept it sealed figuring that it may someday become worth something. Or not, but time will tell. Most people probably thought that misprinted stamps from 100+ years ago were worthless at the time, also.
To each their own. That's just a machinery error in the cutting process of the roll of inserts. I've seen lots of similar examples over the years and I would never buy them because I think they're ugly. I think misprinted stamps are the only example of defective printed products that have ever gained value and that's only because they were official government printed materials. I think modern day stamp misprints are generally worth not much more than face value, especially now that the Postal Service is only a quasi-governmental organization and outsources stamp printing. I can't imagine any collector would want that in their collection, but I guess we can have this discussion again in fifty years.
I own a top-loader NES that I got from a yard sale for five bucks. Best deal of my life. Only problem is there is a small crack on the top of the console, but it works perfectly and came with a controller.
I also own Castlevania: Symphony of the Night which isn't neccesarily rare but worth a decent amount of money. I got it for a buck at a yard sale.
You guys have some really cool stuff. It's cool when someone finds something rare for a few bucks at some thrift.

Oh yeah, I got a Beat Jet Set Radio Future Prototype figure (only 500 were made and were individually numbered).
My rarest game has to be a complete copy of Snatcher (SCD). I traded a guy off of Gamefaqs a loose copy of Super R-Type(SNES) for it. The guy didn't think his copy of Snatcher worked, but it plays perfectly.
Some other good deals on fairly rare games, I've found recently:
Tales of Destiny(PS1)- $6.00
Tales of Destiny II [no instructions](PS1)- $7.00
Intelligent Qube (PS1)- $5.00
Heh, I don't have too much. I've long since sold Strip Fighter II for PC-engine.
I have these:
San Fransico Rush Dreamcast Prototype (From DreamTR)
Jack Bros. w/manual (VB us version)
Sonic Adventure Limited Edition (commoner version of disk only with Hollywood sticker on it)
Recently I picked up Star Fighter (PSX) on a whim. Not worth much though. Good thing I underpaid for it.
I also have Sharp NESTV that's about it.
Phyeir, there is a Jak 2 for the ps2, that has a factory messed up insert on ebay you might want to pick up. Sealed of course.
Flinstones suprise at dinosaur peak for nes
earthbound for snes
worms armageddon for n64
rolo to the rescue for sega genesis
