I've thrown out hardware but not games- like old/crappy controllers, ps2 network adapters (didn't realize they had value), and n64 memory cards.
Nope. Not even extremely scratched up disc only PS1 sports games - I've always managed to find someone who will take stuff like that for free, even though they're aware that the discs are pretty much coasters.
A few months ago, I got a couple broken third-party PS2 controllers for free, and offered them to a friend. He said he'd try and see if he could get them working. In the end, one of them turned out to be completely busted, but IIRC, the other one just needed a simple repair.

No, and I don't think anyone on this site ever will.
Throwing away games? That's crazy talk, Mr. Crazy Talk Guy.
Still Around...Still Gamin'...
If you can give me 1 good reason to throw a game in the garbage then I will record myself throwing all my games in the trash.
Yeah I have crappy stuff too (boxes of SNES sports games, loose PS1 sports titles) that takes space but I just can't see myself just throwing that out =/
I've actually broken a copy of WCW Nitro for PSX in half. The game sucks and it wasn't a complete copy. I don't regret it.
Because I am waiting beside your dumpster for you to do it.
Yeah, I had a totally scratched rock band for 360 that didnt even work, and I just gave it away for free to a forum member.
Speaking of which, anybody on the boards have a disc resurfacer (it would be cheaper to ship them to somebody then to have it done here in town).
I have in the past, there is a very good likelihood I will again.
