UT is a fast-paced shooter, not like the slow and tactical stuff we see on consoles today. You really need to use a mouse and keyboard to play it properly, but even then, I believe that they actually slowed the console ports down a bit.
There's real shooters (Quake, UT, etc) which require accuracy and reflexes, and then there's console shooters (Halo, Resistance, etc) where things are slower and not as frantic. You just can't get that visceral, crazy-fast experience with a gamepad.

Poor finds at the flea market this weekend:
Loose Sega Saturn, no cables or controllers with a copy of Sonic Jam inside
Power Cord for Saturn
Sunset Riders for Genesis - $6
Random A/V Cables I bought for the Saturn that turned out to not be Saturn cables - $5. I'll have to take a picture to see if anyone can identify them.
Sonic Jam pretty much is a pointless game with horrible music, and Sunset Riders is a super half-assed port.
Got a late start and it didn't help that stores were on Sunday hours. Hit up a few places around town but didn't find any diamonds in the rough. Since it was my b-day today I decided to pick up a few games at Best Buy, notably Monkey King on Wii and Rainbow Islands Revolution on PSP.
On Saturday I picked up a Taito Legends 2 from work for PC. It's slightly different from the PS2 version I have as each has 4 games that are not on the other. I wasn't sure if I was going to get anything different from the PC version but a quick check on Wikipedia fixed that.

Found This today:
Virtual Boy with power Supply and Controller for $6.16 at a Value Village. I have no idea if it works properly, because I have no games for it. Looks like it's time to do some reading up on the VB...
The Genesis games are:
Alisia Dragoon
Shinobi III
Both are R4's and they cost me $2 each at Goodwill Computer Works.
Slow garage sales this weekend...
Got:
CIB Gameboy Advance w/ rechargeable batteries, GameCube link cables, a BUNCH of misc. accessories - $3
15 Music Cassette Tapes (2x Whitesnake, 2x Foreigner, 2x Genesis, Slaughter, Motley Crue, White Lion, Judas Priest, etc, etc) - $7
Passed on:
Loose Genesis w/ cords and crappy sports games - $30, firm. ...Shya, okay. lol.
Did some local thrift store hunting today, warming up in preparation of going out of state next week and doing some Louisiana thrift store shopping.
I ended up with a bare Atari Jaguar console for $6.56, a Cybermorph that was in the cart slot for $1.91, a little Radio Shack LCD/mechanical handheld thingie called 'Dino 2 N 1' for $2.25, and the following Playstation games: Intelligent Qube (no instruction manual), Tecmo's Deception (instruction manual but without the rest of the jewel case), Bubble Bobble also featuring Rainbow Islands, and Extreme Pinball (also without instructions). Tecmo's Deception was $5.25 at Goodwill, the rest were $3.93 each.
I looked all over the place for anything else Atari Jaguar related. It makes me think that someone might have bought all of it including the cables (it's the kind of store that sells them separate) but didn't want another console or another copy of Cybermorph. In the past I've found a couple games here and there and a controller, but never a console, so I'm happy about having a replacement for my original launch console.

I have had a few decent finds the last couple days:
1/2 price books
Shenmue II PAL DC complete $5.98 (was $24.98 sitting on the shelf forever, guy just marked it down today)
Pawn Shop finds $4 each
Sunset Riders snes cart only
Contra III snes cart only
Demon's Crest snes cart only
American McGee's Alice EA Sports version with manual
Final Fantasy VII Black Label version complete
Silent Hill Black Label Version complete
Vandal Hearts complete
Shadow Madness ps1 complete
Kartia PS1 complete
Then 48 complete SNES/Genesis games (35 SNES/13 Genesis), most were sports games but had following non-sports: Genesis Prince of Persia, Comix Zone, Generation Lost, Pitfall, SNES Pagemaster, Jeopardy, Jeopardy Sports, Best of the Best, Tuff Enuff.
I figured for $.80 each I would take them all, in all I got 40 games I didn't have before
Movie Trading Company
Traded GBA Player for GC, MK vs DC xbox 360, and a couple DVD's for:
Complete Virtual Boy system with Mario Tennis, Wario Land, and Galactic Pinball. System is in great shape, small crack on the plastic part of the stand, but it works perfect.
So not a bad few days, I just need to sell some crap to pay for everything I got.
wow lots of virtual boy stuff lately!
I've been trying to find one for a decent price for awhile. If one of you guys want to sell yours, let me know
I bought a ps2 slim lot with a couple of games for $40.00. I wanted an extra one for the camp.
Which Movie Trading Company was that? I like to hit as many of their locations as I can when I happen to be anywhere near one, and I don't recall seeing a Virtual Boy in one (let alone games for the system other than Mario Tennis or Red Alarm).
On a related note, I f*cking love the Movie Trading Company. That place has helped me expand my Atari collection by leaps and bounds. Thankfully, they only seem to have NES era and newer in their computer system, so I can find Atari stuff and sometimes goofy things like Emerson Arcadia games for a buck or two each. Dammit, I love that place!
Hulen Street Store, that is about the only one I go to, I hit it about 3 times a week on my lunch break, it has been great recently. In the past 6 weeks or so I got:
Turbo grafx 16 system and CD-Add on for $60 (store credit too)
Y's I & II $4.99
4 other TG16 games for $4.99 including Military Madness, Bonk's Adventure, Dragon Spirit and another one
Virtual Boy with store credit
Complete Robotrek $5.99, Ultima Runes of Virtue II Complete $9.99, Breath of Fire complete $14.99, Breath of Fire II complete $19.99, PSO I & II GC complete 2 copies $4.99 each
so this store has been good to me, i usually trade new stuff for the old stuff, I find it for cheap at pawn and flip it for the old stuff
Picked up a couple games today at a used music store:
