I ordered Far Cry 2 from eBay. Well, I won on it last second.
Anyways, that's it for now.
Trying to save money to build a small home studio and then I can spend more on games.

A little cross-post from Import Gaming:
Last Monday was a holiday and I decided to drive up north a bit. I was poking through the Fukushima/Ibaraki coastal are and came across one of the "We buy and sell everything stores" - Mito Kanteidan. (In Mito city, of course)
I've had very little luck in these sorts of stores lately as some of them have started to carry less and less retro gaming and others haven't changed their prices in 10 years. Still others are rat's nests and impossible to negotiate (though I like that sort of shop). Mito Kanteidan was different. Clean and well-organized, they had all kinds of interesting gaming goodness at reasonable prices. I didn't have my camera with me so I can't share pictures, but believe me when I say they had an amazing selection. There was aisles of just about every every system imaginable, and tons of rare stuff (PC Engine LT, several 64DD games, even some Pippin soft). I found several items I had been looking for for some time, like these WonderSwan items:
That's the very-hard-to-find Handy Sonar and the just-about-as-hard-to-find Chocobo Fushigi na Dungeon pack. I also snagged some NeoGeo Pocket stuff I wanted and a used copy of Shoot the Bullet:
I'm pretty sure the Party Mail is brand new, too - it certainly looks like the sticker has never been removed. Not so rare but still interesting, I picked up some PS2 games as well:
Haven't had a chance to play either yet.
For those who might theoretically be interested in visiting this shop, don't consider it. It's really in the middle of nowhere and only accessible by car. Probably why they had such nice stuff.
Well, a sort of retrogaming score today. My sisters took us to a flea market in Louisville, Tennessee, and it was raining so a lot of the outside vendors had soaked stuff... there was one booth that had tons of PC stuff, but some weird looking lady beat me to most of the stuff there.
The owner there was really nice, though - she said everything inside was a dollar. Old monitors, dot-matrix printers, PCs from the 1980's... I managed to fish out a bunch of floppy and CD games:
A Street Fighter / Cabal / some other game I don't remember three pack
A flight simulator three pack that also had a copy of Wolfenstein 3D 1.14 Shareware inside (I didn't notice it!)
A disaster game flight simulator thing (New)
Cyborgirl (a pinball game by Epic games, brand new)
And... Adobe Creative Suite Premium for Mac. Educational, but still. I may be able to sell it on eBay for a mint if I don't get caught.
They also had TONS of 5.25" floppy disk games and software, but I don't -have- a 5.25" drive. I'll buy one of their old setups and see if I can nab one if we go back there next week.

Playstation Mouse, in the original box with the mousepad for 1.99 at one of my Goodwills today.
I wish you would post prices smork. I'm always interested in seeing how much stuff is in Japan.
Anyway, I got this stuff off of gametz:
Home Movies season 1
Home Movies season 4
Blue Neo Geo Pocket Color
NEo Turfmasters
Pacman
Sonic Pocket Adventure
Metal Slug 1st mission
Dark Arms
Faselei
All for $58.35 shipped.
Just picked up:
Herzog Zwei
Metroid
Adventure Island 2
Bubble Bobble
and 3 throw-ins for $20 total (throw-ins were Mickey Mousecapade, Ducktales, and TMNT)
Odd find at a remote small-town Goodwill yesterday:
Sonic and Knuckles (Gen) - 50 cents
sitting right next to a loose Ecco the Dolphin (Gen) - $7.00???
Aye, chihuahua, I sometimes wonder who prices this stuff and why there is such a spread of pricing in the same store, and these were the only two games in the whole store!

I MIGHT BE THE STUPIDEST MOTHERFUCKER ON THE PLANET.
I passed on a fucking Stadium Events for like $2. I thought it was the other one.
Excuse me a moment: BFDASDFASDFSDFDSFSDFADSFSDDS
Before you ask, I think it was fucking ntsc.
This is an epic facepalm.
Edit: Now that I've calmed down, here's what I did get:
$1 Game Gear (Broken ish)/Ninja Crystal
$15 SNES Console with A/V and Controller
$3 Super Mario All Stars
$3 Donkey Kong Country 2
$3 FFVII Disc 1 (GH) - is this still worth anything?
$6 Faxanadu complete, Dragon Warrior Complete, Gradius
Edit 2: Since I really can't remember now if it was written on 2 lines or 1, I'm going to just assume pal based on statistics (also to preserve my sanity). Serves me right for forgetting which was the rare version.

Where did you see it at?
Autobots. Roll out.
It was at a booth at a flea. I'm sure it was PAL, statistically speaking, but for $2 or whatever there was absolutely no reason for me not to grab it and be absolutely sure >_< It's sort of a lesson learned though...I'm not really all that into NES, but I need to brush up on the list.. I could get a JPN saturn and all the games I need with that cart :drools:
