I'll get into some street slang and say that's some "busta ass shit." He joined here in Dec 2002 so he should know the game. I'm gonna go on the record and say he's pissed about how low it went for. Good luck, skaar.

I almost bid on this item but now I'm glad I didn't. As for the seller canceling the auction, it has been known for quite sometime that you can cancel any auction as long as you do it before the last 12 hours. I've even done this on several occasions for one reason or another, but I definitely never waited until the last day. In this case though, it looks like he wanted a higher price and unfortunately that didn't happen.

There is something you can do. Give negative feedback and ruin his 100% positive. If he's going to pull a dick move, then he deserves it.
I hope it works out for you skaar, especially since you are one of the easiest people to do transactions with![]()

I ask him how it could possibly be a mistake when he took the time to take a picture of the item and write out a full description for it in the auction. He than says that his mom got mad at him and told him he could not ship the item if anyone won it. I than ask him why he didn't just cancel the auction, and he says because he had no idea there was such an option. We exchanged emails back and forth for the next couple of days...but I could not convince him to just ship my item.
Any news yet, Skaar? Situation resolved or ridiculous still?

Although I'd be very disappointed as I'm sure anyone would in this situation it's pretty obvious that he's not going to ship it.
If he doesn't ship, then his standing on this forum is gonna go the shit, and I'll make sure it is noted somewhere to keep an eye on things.
isn't there some kind of ebay blacklist on this site? He could go there. It's crazy though, his post count and time on DP is impressive. You'd think one would not want to mess that up...
Seems like you won it for TOO cheap and someone ballsy enough contacted the seller after the auction ended and offered more. Hell, this game was selling for $400 a few years ago!
This is pretty lame as I was a bidder too and it could just as easily left me in the shitter. Still hoping there is a good conclusion here for you, Skaar.

... and a refund.Hi again,
Did you get my last message? i said i'd refund your payment, i have limited time on the internet, at the moment.
I also sent you an email regarding the auction, and the reason i'v refunded your payment.
Any questions please just get back to me.. thanks.

My reply:
So yeah, looks like the negative and move on is basically my only recourse. Lame.I got your message. Bottom line is the auction was listed and I won. When you list on ebay you need to be aware of their listing policies. It's not to your advantage, but you are legally obligated to complete the sale.
You can discuss this matter with eBay and they will tell you the same thing. Unfortunately, all I can do is leave a negative feedback and move on with a lesson learned.
If you're committed to killing this deal then I'll do so and that'll be the end of it for me.
fyi, I've posted your responses in your listing thread on DP where you advertised your auction.
