I have to go with the Gamecube controller. While very comfortable in the hands, I absolutely hate the extremely small D-Pad. I like using a D-Pad instead of an analog stick for some games, but I find this one to be completely unusable.

I have to complain about the GameCube's D-Pad as well. I love the SSX games, Tricky and 3 that is, but when I go to playa it, my left thumb gets SOOOO sore from trying to do flips and 360s and mistys and whatnot its ridiculous. It pinches your fingers and hurts afterwards for quite some time.
I also dont like the original Genesis controller. I would much rather prefer the tiny LaserActive one I have.
