Kid Fenris - Rock was damned funny. BTW, you called me "Pops Ghostly" in one thread "The Action Max RAWKED, man!". Tell me, just who is Pops Ghostly? I've never heard of him.

Yeah, I was all about Rock. I thought it was brilliant.
the four-five days thing was unavoidable from the slashdot but did make things hard, somehow I went from being an 'actor' with a Napoleon complex to being "The littlest gay Moogle". I really don't know what happened there. A few of my RL friends got a laugh from it, thankfully.

Holy crap. It's been a while.
Yeah, and how dare you cast a spell on my urn and make it run away from me!
My wife would tell you that my alter ego isn't much of an act at all - she occasionally called me Mr. Gropey, which isn't a side of myself that I've let out of the bag here at ALL, not even in the pub. Truth be told, if the CGE webcam thread wasn't enough proof, I do have a bit of an eye for the ladies, i.e. if you're a lady, I'm looking at you.
All of which comes in handy when you're going to be the unabashed horndog that is
Buster's Revenge.
SMOOVE!
I'm now officially more embarrassed, and more amused, than AdamG. :P
Pops Ghostly was the star of "The Rescue of Pops Ghostly," a game for the short lived Action Max videotape-based game system. I was trying to come up with the lamest and most obscure video game ghost ever.Originally Posted by Dire 51

I was Q-Bert... and it was all QoF's idea so I can blame her for not scoring any votes here :P
Anyways, I figured it was a perfectly opportunity to be able to swear the hell out of the board seeing as the last couple of weeks have been pretty shitty (but not for the kitty!) arghhhhh!!!
Holy Crap! I had that system and loved that game. My mom would always play the police one though, since she was in the military. Wow, I completely forgot this thing existed, thanks man!Originally Posted by Kid Fenris

Well played, Kaine!
I'd like to take off my mask, but unfortuantely, it's part of my costume. That's right, I was Sly Cooper.
Geez, guys, I thought I deserved at least ONE vote. C'mon, you've got to admit the reference to the Genesis song "Welcome to the Home by the Sea" was clever.

I was Lazy Jones. It was fun on Friday, but I probably picked too obscure a C64 character.
Cheers,
Ben
I was ......1-UP. I thought it would be funny to play a grumpy old character stuck in his ways. It kinda got out of hand because I just got crankier and crankier.
Stanley was Awesome!!! There always needs to be someone to bash and you took it well. I was feeling a bit bad, but then I started flaming myself and felt better about it.
Next time I will try to choose a character with more of a personality that I don't have to invent. I have some ideas. It's fun being mean for a few days.
Thanks all!!!
GET OUT OF THE WALLS CHEATER!!!
I was Mr. Driller. I was going to go in as a completely different character, but my friend wouldn't stop bugging me to go as the drill man, coupling that with me being too lazy to make an avatar, I decided to go with it.
Check out the Kleppings!

So, PDF was my arch nemesis...
Actually I had Buster's Revenge pegged as Butta, and Q-bert as Snider-man...shows you what I knew...

Actually, I knew Q*Bert was Mayhem: he tipped his hand at one point talking about "haemorrhoids," which is a bit of uniquely British spelling there. Not sure if anyone else picked up on that.
Similarly, I thought I pretty much gave my game away with my entry in the rapping contest. But yeah, I was gunning for El Suave. I probably shoulda gone for Larry Laffer too (who was that?), but I figured "naaaaahhhh."
We gotta do this again sometime. Halloween, anyone?
