Quite possibly my best find to date:
$8.00 for this from Craigslist!
Castlevania Legends (GB) cart instructions and box included and all near mint!
I have to comment on this, too. I concur with Kitsune, but also, people still pay actual, real money for crappy VHS movies. That just blows my mind. 4 is the typical price I see for DVDs, and even at garage sales they are seldom less than 3.
I buy anime on VHS. It's never more than $1.99 per tape. It's just a little something I divulge on so it's not a wasted day when the thrift stores have no games.

I'm still looking for a copy of Morgan the Pirate on VHS starring Steve Reeves, it wasn't released on DVD. Oh well, I'm hoping I'll find it somewhat soon. I don't get too many DVDs or VHS tapes these days, it's very hard to sell them off if I don't want them anymore. VHS tapes are usually $1.99 at the thrifts near me, DVDs $4.99.
I checked out my local Goodwill today, and found this:
25 VHS tapes containing 51 episodes from the original Star Trek. At $1 per tape, that's about $0.50 an episode. Not bad, considering that I would have to spend about $120 to get this on DVD, new. Plus the boxes look so cool lined up on my shelf! Of course if I wanted to find the last 10 or so tapes I would have to probably shell out big bucks for shipping on eBay...
My local Salvation Army has a bunch of TNG releases in that style, cept they want $2 per tape. Other tapes are $0.99. TOS is on YouTube.com/shows, so I can live with that and TVLand until I get the Blu-Ray releases.
I stopped in Hudson's again on the way home yesterday and found The Beatles Rock Band Limited Edition for Wii for $249.99 at 90% off, so yea at $25 I'm surprised it lasted that long.
Last weekend wasn't all that great but I did find two things I have been looking for, not really rare at all but I have never seen them around here 1.) a Turbo Grafx 16 controller and 2.) a Sega 32X.
Edit* hopefully no more confusion will ensue :P

3 different atari controllers in boxes
all for $6
All for about $40 yesterday:
Aladdin (GEN) - Found out I currently didn't have a copy! WTF!?!?
Harvey Birdman (Wii) - Love the series. This reminds me of Carmen Sandiego and many point n clicks.
Mercs (GEN)
Midnight Resistance (GEN) - Ha! Haven't played this one in ages. Still pretty good!
Shadowman 2nd Coming (PS2) - Really enjoyed the first game. Stupid thing is on a CD and my PS2 is being a bitch about all CD games.
Vectorman (GEN)
Wild Arms 3 (PS2) - Enjoyed the first one. Heard this one was decent.
X-Men (GEN)
All for also about $40 today:
Castlevania 2 (NES) - Completes my trilogy.
LoZ:Ocarina of Times (N64)
Okage:Shadow King (PS2) - I've wanted this one since I got a PS2 and read about it in GameGo. Seemed pretty interesting.
Pitfall Mayan Adventure (SNES) - Nice fast platformer. Surprised I didn't have it already.
Super R-Type (SNES)
Wild Arms 3 (PS2) - OOPS I GOT A DUPE! >
Most expensive thing I picked up yesterday was a $150 speeding ticket. 0_0
Craigslist:
Atari 5200 2-port console with no power supply and a couple common games - $10.
Local shop:
Bally Astrocade with 4 controllers, six games and manual - $125.00
Ironically, the local scene has suddenly turned bountiful only after I've come back from OVGE and really shouldn't be spending any more money on games.
i scored a this bundle last week
saturn with hooks up, one controller, light gun, virtua cop 2 in virtua cop 1 case, virtual on, dragonheart, three dirty dwarves and daytona usa.
All for the low low price of 10 bucks

I got a speeding warning two weeks ago. It's like $250 per ticket in Florida now. Now everytime I see the spedometer now, I think about the games I could buy with that, and slow down.
Interesting day for me with many transactions. In order:
1. Picked up a Sega Genesis and Sega CD Model 1 with 7 Sega CD games and controllers off Craigslist. Agreed to price and when I got there realized that the cords and cables weren't included (or discussed). Went ahead with the deal and if she finds them, she'll call me (they just moved in last week.) So I left with:
Sega Genesis/CD Model 1 (which I didn't have)
2 Controllers
Sol Feace
Sherlock Holmes
Sega Classics (4 games)
Rock Paintings
Road Avenger (game only)
All for $40
2. Headed to Half Price books where I grabbed:
Final Fantasy IV Advance strategy guide for $1.
3. Hit a thrift store and picked up:
Atari Paddle-style Plug-n-play game
Mega Man 8: Anniversary Edition (psx)
Mega Man Legends (psx) Greatest Hits Version.
All for $10
4. Went to a retro game shop where I traded the Sega CD games listed above (except Road Avenger and Rock Paintings) for these:
Keith Courage (TG) complete
Legendary Axe (TG) complete
Captain America and the Avengers (Genesis) loose
Traded the games and $7 for these
5. Got an email from a guy wanting my Sega Genesis Model 2 and 4 loose games for $30. The games are all doubles or triples so I went and made that deal.
6. On the way home from this sale, I stopped at Game Stop and picked up 4 Xbox titles on the B2G2 sale:
Alter Echo
Power Drome
Stolen
Da Vinci Code
All for $9
So, ended up spending $37 out of pocket and got some games that I needed and a Sega CD model 1 that I've been wanting. Now to find some power and a/v cords....If anyone has any to trade, lmk and we'll work something out.

All I bought today was a still sealed Hasbro Scabble Express handheld. Original K•B Toys price was $34.99, knocked down to $4.99, and now I bought it for $2.92. I luvv me some Scrabble, I just hate the way these kinds of computerized versions play. They always pull the most obscure words out of its butt to play. I don't care that the word Aa is Hawaiian for a kind of magma, it's a word that only badly programmed computer versions use.
But i Always use AA as a word. Its a good cheat and a way for people to lose a challenge.
