I may have seen NCAA College Basketball 2K3 too. I've seen quite a few of the 2K3 games for Gamecube... not sure if College Basketball was one of them. Hard to find out when you don't know crap about sports games :P

I see NCAA College Basketball 2K3 at work all the time. I tried bartering for it, but the company won't part with it. It just sits in the Archives

I have a package to pick up tomorrow that I'm really excited about, so I'll post about that in the morning. Sega CD goodness.

Picked up a shrinkwrapped Ballistic for the Nuon for $2. Also found a Japanese 8MM videocassette of Dr. Strangelove and a VHS of Zombie Nightmare for $1 each.

(I borrowed this description from racketboy.com's of the holy grails of game collecting article.)

The only game released by the company “MenAvision” (clever), Air Raid is quickly gaining the notoriety it needs to become the Holy Grail of Atari collecting. Two of the most recent sales have reached over $3000, and for the loose cartridge alone.

The game itself is a standard shooter along the lines of Space Invaders. Much like that Taito classic, in Air Raid you’re tasked with defending endangered buildings from rapidly lowering space menaces, the primary gameplay difference being that your ship is above and not below said buildings.

Air Raid’s cartridge is perhaps the strangest looking for the 2600, disregarding the need for a title and having both a handle and a sky-blue finish. its this unique image that is likely to remain at the forefront of a collector’s thoughts, driving the desire to find it extremely high.

its unknown exactly how many copies were printed, but Air Raid’s rarity suggests that it may have seen the most limited production run of any commercially released Atari 2600 title.
OOH. You made me remember something I have for the 2600!
Not a recent find (a few years back now), but I have this beast. It's not in the DP rarity guide?

Judging by the label art, it involves A football game between the eagles and the steelers, an american indian riding a jet plane, a black stereotype circus performer, and a griffin protecting a pot of gold. Huh?

This sounds like the most AWESOME game ever. Please, post a picture or two of the actual gameplay.

Sadly, It's just another "space invader-esque clone"
All of the entertainment value is in the label art.

Well it seems that each and every single one is a pirate cart. Not a good start to my Famicom collection.

Why did you even buy 15 in one if you don't want pirate carts?

Tough luck there. Now you have something in common with Gamestop, I have found tons of pirates there before.

Pirate carts are GREAT conversation starters.

Besides sometimes they're hacked to include other features. So they're not a total loss!

Ummm dock sale (AKA back lot sale) at Goodwill today.

Nothing video game related but I did get a nice set of Realistic Minimus-7 bookshelf speakers, a Ti-85 graphing calculator, a JBL On Stage iPod dock, a Trent portable DVD player, and a few other things. Make note all of those things were cheap because they were in questionable working condition. I do hope the Minimus speakers work though, honestly they are much nicer (hi-fi-ier) than the set of Ion DJing speakers I got a few weeks ago.

Just picked these loose SNES carts out of a stack of the usual yawners at Goodwill:

    Super Punch Out
    Carrier Aces (R5)
    Final Fight Guy (R6)

    1.99 each.
