This would be one of the limited edition GBAs sold by the Pokemon Center Store in New York City before it was absorbed into what we all know now as Nintendo World. I believe there are two others - Celebi and Suicune editions, but I don't rightly recall if those were also sold in North America.

Japan only or something?
No, those were sold in America, as noted by the "Pokemon Center New York".
Pokemon Center was a store in New York City dedicated to selling all things Pokemon. They've sold a lot of different GBA variations as exclusives there, and a few years back they were turned into Nintendo World. Now rather than sell all Pokemon stuff, they sell all Nintendo-related items.
They also released a Venasaur GBA SP.
I would assume the system is worth a decent amount, but since the one in the picture is in such terrible shape, it'd be hard to get a good price for it.
yea, I popped some fresh AA's in it and it started right up, and the sound on it is nice and loud/clear.
I'd be interested in buying, but am not sure how much I would pay because of the shape that its in.
Based on the current condition, it won't price around $100. Too bad it is missing the battery cover.
