Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker GCube CIB - $2
20% Discount from buying 10 things at goodwill made it come to $5.77.
I have this one thrift in town, that I used to frequent alot, and used to get good things at (Samba maraccas MIB for 9.99, Collection of TG16 Games 2.99 each, etc) but over the years it's broke down into something terrible. I go there less and less. I hadn't been there in a few months, so I decided to go today. And it's honestly gotten so bad, I may never go back.
Unless of course you want any of the following:
-PS2 3rd party wireless controllers with no receivers 9.99 each
-xbox sports games 9.99 each
-ps2 network adapter start up disks (2 available!) 5.99 each
-PS2 Punisher demo disk 5.99
-bag of about 1 pound of random mega blocks 39.99
Now they've even started putting guides in baggies and selling them for 5.99 each.
My days of finding deals there has ended officially, I'm afraid.
So, in my discouragement, I hit up a Microplay on the way home. They're marking down their xbox stuff, and also have a buy 2 get 1 free deal, so I took the opportunity to fill in some gaps in the ole xbox shelf.

Looks fun
Didn't find much today. After looking at several thrifts, I found a little electronic toy by a company called Waco made back in 1972 called Slot Machine. It's possibly one of the earliest plastic electronic toys ever made, although I need to do some research on that. Later I found a Waddingtons Wizard electronic toy, boxed, for $1.50 at Goodwill. Picked up Gangster Alley and Amidar at a Movie Trading Company for $1.99 each, although I think I might already have them. Oh, and someone gave me a 1937 Indian head buffalo nickel as change at some point. Neat!
Craigslist:
NES Sharp Television $60
*Two front feet are broken off; NES door cover missing; came with (2) controllers that were not original to the television/system
**Came with Mario Bros/Duck Hunt & Super Mario Bros. 3
Lol, those Waco games are really common here in Texas for some reason. Interestingly enough, I've probably seen over 20 of those gambling-type mechanical games here in Waco in the past few years- And they're made by a company called Waco. I think they were sold at Radioshack back in the day, actually.
I do think they're really fun, though. I like the poker one. They remind me of Tomy's battery powered and pocket games.
If I'm not mistaken, Rockin Kats was made by Atlus (Yes, the same RPG game maker Atlus). It's not a bad late NES title. I've never seen a copy in the wild so I think that was a very good price. The more uncommon/borderline rare NES games seem to be rising in value.

Found these yesterday at pawn shops.
Battletoads and Double Dragon (C) SNES _________$5
Rampart NES (sealed)__________________________$3
Nobunaga's Ambition NES (sorta sealed) __________$3
The Magic of Scheherazade NES (sealed) __________$3
Y'know, I had 3 or 4 of those Waco games boxed before and I remember they said "Made in Japan" on them. ( EDIT AGAIN: Just realized you said that lol). I don't know if Waco was based out of Waco or not, though. The only game-related company that I know of based out of Waco is Puremco. They make those "Marblelike" dominoes that you sometimes see at garage sales. They're quite common here and suprisingly they tend to bring some money on eBay.
EDIT:
Dock sale again today. Not much to write about really, got a NES Power Pad for a buck and a PS2 with hookups and 2 controllers for $5. Haven't tested it out yet so I'm not sure if it works.
EDIT AGAIN AGAIN: I can't believe it. The PS2 I got works fine. It had a copy of Twisted Metal Black in it. Not bad for $5.

So what's the story with The Magic of Scheherazade is it that rare now or something?
I got a copy not to long ago (not sealed but) I didn't think it was that hard to get or anything.
Sorry for the TERRIBLE picture. I was pretty tired when I got home.
I finally got a NES!
I'm really happy. I actually went into a independent record store to buy a few CD's, but I saw this sucker for $30. First time I have actually seen one in the wild, so I'm super happy. Funny, this was $30 but a Dreamcast was $50?
Oh well, I'm not complaining. Unfortunately, I only got one game (The Hunt For the Red October) because it was the only game there. But I'll start buying some NES games now at least. :P
i liek gamez

NES stuff was $15, D&D game + Duke Nukem 3 cd set for $2, assorted controllers were $1 each, 2600 mini was $1, SF games were $4 each
Picked this lot up off CL last night. Originally priced 40, I was first to reply, I think, and then he had higher offers and changed his ad to say $55. I don't like dealing with people when they can't stick to their price, but this was a kid so I let it go. Also, I said I could go to $50 and he took it since I was the first to contact him even though he had higher offers, so that was something, at least. Barely worth it for me, since I only get to add a couple games to the collection and have to sell the rest, but I should make a little at least.
