It just so happens that I found a perfectly usable Mac keyboard while cleaning up my home. I bought it ages ago thinking it was an old-style clacky keyboard but it has an ADB pinout.
You can have it for free, just pay for the shipping. You're in Canada so it might be expensive, though.
nice craigslist find for $100
Can anyone see the Gem of the lot
Also about a dozen of the ATari 7800 games are Factory sealed and pretty much all the boxed ones still are wrapped with just a small slit at the top to take the game out
First -- yeah, you really do need one of the eyeshade things for the Virtual Boy to play it correctly. They're way, way overpriced on EBay of course, so good luck finding one at an affordable price... it is worth it though, it's a system well worth having. My Virtual Boy came with a visor but not with a stand, and I think the visor is far more important than the stand. You can find ways to use it without a stand, but without the visor, there's nothing to block out all the light and make the VR experience really work... I mean, you can play it without one. But it's better with it, yes.
Yeah, I might do that, I was thinking about getting those... Oh, the Orion Pirates one had some CD stuck to the back, a bonus disc or something I gather. Anyone know something about that?
Also I remembered a few more of the jewelcase games they had, they had both official Quake mission packs and both official Quake II mission packs (they didn't have the original games of either and I don't have them for PC... so no. Even if I did want them they're also on Steam for $5 each, which isn't much more than the $3 there...), Harvester, and various others. It's by far the most PC games I've seen in a used place in a long time... there is this one place around here with a bunch of older PC games, both jewelcase and boxed, but they charge a lot more, like $20 for many of the boxed games, etc. I mean, I'm sure that X-Com: UFO Defense boxed and complete and maybe in shrinkwrap is worth something, but still, I don't want to pay that for it.
Went to the mall tonight, didn't want to spend much but that never goes well...
I almost picked up .Hack parts 2 and 3 (complete with DVDs) from GameStop, and they would have been $35 total. I'm still debating going back for that, since part 1 is on my to-do shelf. Part 4 still goes for like $40 though, so not sure if I want to get going and have to make the investment.
Of course me and my friends are chatting with the clerks, they're awesome. It's maybe fifteen minutes after closing, and we're finally heading out when I notice a complete copy of Persona (PSP) on the used rack. I know you can still get it new most places, but I don't know how much longer stock will last. I've always wanted to check out this series, but I've really been on the fence. $28 with the Edge card, and I can take it back if I don't care for it.
Also picked up Evangelion 1.0 at FYE. I REALLY wanted to get this one on Blu-Ray, but they haven't made ANY announcement of a US release beyond the DVD. I've been dying to see it again since I saw it in a theater, so I'll probably sell this copy if they ever do announce it.
it is the Title Match Pro Wrestling. That is the 7800 version which is very hard to find boxed. The box on it is huge, i think it is worth about $150 range complete.
The ninja golf is nice too as it is factory sealed and the mat mania is sealed. The midnight mutants is a kind of tough game too to find it isn't sealed though unfortunately
Garage sales today were alright, despite the rain.
I went to a sale and asked about video games. The guy went in and brought out some NES game. 11 in all. I paid $10 for all of them, so just about $1 a piece. Don't know all of the titles offhand but it's all common. The notables are Castlevania, Little League Baseball, and Baseball Stars. Nothing really special.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

How does a JP hori stick show up at Goodwill in Burleson texas?
Went to one of my favorite thrifts today and had a pretty awesome find.
Underneath a pile of crappy PC games in a glass case I saw a row of about 6 cartridges, one of which had a very unusual label peeking out at me ...
One of the 2600 holy grails (as far as Im concerned), in awesome shape! Definitely made my weekend.
Price = $1.50.

How do all those JP games I find end up in Mexico? Same way. Smugglers.
As for me, I bought another A/V switcher (hopefully this one won't suck) and a Sony USB audio box. It was apparently used with their headsets, I want to use this so I have another way of recording audio on my system.
A few things I picked up today...
"One of the ways I gauge a DS game is by recharges. "...Tycho (Penny Arcade)
Wow, some nice finds lately from people. I'm impressed with the Chase the Chuckwagon and the Atari 7800 lot. Some seriously nice deals there.

Dungeons of Daggorath
Galactic Attack
Color Baseball
Starblaze
Megabug
Backgammon

Hit a few thrifts in Metro Toronto today and came up with some stuff.
Started at $24.99 for this and it's contents, and got it down to $14.99.
Now for what was inside...
2 Game Gears (both work, one all the time, the other 50/50), Dynamite Headdy, Sonic Chaos, Sonic 2, Sonic Spinball, Taz-Mania (sucks), x2 Evander Holyfield Boxing, 1 Game Boy (not working due to corrosion on battery contacts, being repaired by me), 1 link cable, 1 4p link hub, Golf, Tetris, Super Mario Land, Kirby's Dream Land, Bill & Teds Excellent Game Boy Adventure (good game), Paperboy, Yoshi, F-1 Race (not pictured, I'm keeping this and its manual), & Vic Tokai Light Boy perhipheral.
Went by another shop and found these for $9 total.
SCPH-9001 PS1 (modded) and 1 functional official 6-button Genesis controller (hey Aussie2B!).
Very nice find Geddon_jt, proof that the high profile rares can still be found out there.
