A local Kijiji lot had 22 Atari 2600 games for $20. I bought it for these two:

Gah! The rareness! It blinds me!
Why am I not finding any good gaming stuff lately??? It seems everyone else is.
(I shouldn't be complaining, since I found those rare Beatles 4 tracks the other day and American McGee's Alice this morning)
/me crosses my fingers in hopes that I find some really really good stuff at the Goodwill dock sale tomorrow. I may even get a new picture hosting thingie if I find stuff that's cool enough.

Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!
View my collection!
Ratchet & Clank 4th: GiriGiri Gigna no Giga Battle (Special Gift Package). Picked it up brand new at a Goodwill for $9.99.
About 30 copies of Rock Band 2 for $5 each with the magical Target coupon.
Also some various other clearance games from there. All for ebay.
I wish I could find some good things for my collection like you guys are getting though. Tucson is really dry lately and it seems like I have to buy just stuff to flip and get stuff to keep off ebay with the money.
Picked up a complete Final Fantasy tactics today for $2.00, alone with a boxed Sonic & Knuckles with a GOOD box for another 4.
Man, it's been a looooong dry season for you guys then because last time I was down there to shop it was pathetic. Not worth the hour and a half drive. The good 'ol days were awesome though. I remember when the Grant Bookmans used to carry tons of decently priced neo geo games and legions of boxed NES. I also got my swordquest waterworld at that store. Now....shit.
In the holiday toy book thing there is a coupon for $10 off with the purchase of 2 Xbox 360 games. Rock Band 2 is on clearance for $9.98.
There is also the exact same coupon for DS, Wii, PSP, and PS3, and all work on clearance games, and let you get them for free if they're cheap enough. I've gotten like 10 copies of Lego Batman for free because they're on clearance for $4.98 each and it still takes the $10 off. But hurry, the coupons expire tomorrow.
I dunno about those, not getting a good vibe about it. A large number of people pass through Target, and those games are sure to be good gift ideas for a lot of people. If it were something more niche, I wouldn't bring it up, but you're taking the opportunity away from a lot of families.
I really don't say this sort of thing normally, but I felt compelled to say it here.
I'm in agreement here. Use the coupons to bolster your collection, pick up cheap stuff, whatever. But 30 copies? This reminds me of the "collectors" who used to spend every morning lined up at Walmart in 1995 hoping to get to the toy section first to get the C3PO and Leia "rare" figures to resell them at toy shows. Add to that the "Treasure Hunt" Hot Wheels "collectors" who are just resellers too. I still call it all scalping - buying up the good stuff in hopes that people who want it have to come to you to get it at a decent profit. Oh sure, I'll buy 2 copies, or if I know friends may want the game, I'll but 3-4, but I almost always leave some for others. Just my opinion.

Thanks.. I'm honestly just as surprised as you are.. I cover alot of ground when I go game hunting, and I have numerous places that I check on a regular basis, so I usually do pretty well.. but this was ridiculous.
This had my friends and me dying at school..
