I always thought that those penguins came with the games integrated. Do they have an actual cart slot?

If this is the one, then yes.

That's the same penguin allright. Right down to the box. You mean player one's pad is IR? Bleh, I don't think I want one anymore. I have bad luck with those things.

Nice finds, especially the SMS stuff.
Decided against venturing out for Black Friday this year. My buddy and I were both awake but felt it would be too much trouble because he'd have to wake/dress/prep his 3yr old and bring her with us (his wife had already left with cousins to go BF shopping). She can be a real terror if woken prematurely.

Blockbuster in PR was sold to and will now be a "pure PR" franchise. I doubt it will be called Blockbuster, though.
Because of this, many stores will close, including the one next to where I live.
They were liquidating everything, even rental games. So I chose a few PS3 (and one Wii) games, and some were $12 CIB! And in good condition too!
These $12 games are:
Little Big Planet
Spiderman: Web of Shadows
Resistance: Fall of Man
Resistance 2
Animal Crossing City Folk
Proud owner of a Neo 25 Neo Geo Candy Cab!
Stopped by Gamestop this afternoon to check out the Buy 2 Get 1 sale after the crowds died down.
As i was browsing a lady was returning a Legend of Zelda DS Lite System she had gotten earlier as she found a pink one for her daughter and didn't want this one.
So with my store credit and the $59.99 deal going on today for DS Lite's I snagged a nice mint Zelda DS Lite system, screen mint, and everything.
So that was worth the trip
I am dead tired right now; after waking up at midnight because I couldn't sleep any longer combined with all the running around Wal-Mart I did this morning (Helping my mom, who was waiting in line for a laptop, get everything else she came for) followed by a trip out of town to visit more family we didn't get to see yesterday. Still, I did have what I feel are damn good finds:
- Sonic Blast (Game Gear. Loose): $3
- Sonic the Hedgehog (Game Gear. Loose): $4
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Crossroads of Time (Genesis. Loose): $4
The best find right here would be Sonic Blast. Sure, I don't have my Game Gear anymore (I eventually plan on buying a replacement; one that actually works right), but for the price combined with this being the first copy I've ever found anywhere, I couldn't pass it up.
Non-gaming finds:
- Star Trek XI (DVD. New, single disc edition): $9
- Young Frankenstein (DVD. New): $2
Although I wanted to get the 2-disc edition, I couldn't pass up getting the new Star Trek for only $9; even if I don't get any deleted scenes and such (I'll eventually get a 2-disc copy)
I've got about 80-100 games from multiple Hollywood Videos these last two days. Also grabbed a few more things at GS, and two DS3s price matched from Radio Shack at Wal Mart.
Kitsune, get me a penguin famiclone!
decent day:
Colecovision - Montezuma's Revenge - $1
Saturn - Guardian Heroes (complete) - $5
Went out on Black Friday and spent too much money.
First stop was GameStop where my son used his birthday money to get Scribblenauts (DS) used, so I got Sudeki and From Russia With Love (both Xbox) with the B2G1 sale. No pic required.
Then off to Half Price books - no good games, but some cool guides on Clearance for $1 each, minus 20% black friday sale:
Not bad for 80 cents each.
Next was Play N Trade's Buy 2 Get 1 sale (Mix and match any used games) so I got:
Fun N Games (Genesis) missing manual
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (Xbox) complete
BattleTanx Global Assault (N64)
Battle Zone (N64)
Quake II (N64)
Xena Warrior Princess (N64)
All for around $25
Last store I picked up:
Loaded (PS1) longbox
Destruction Derby (PS1) longbox
Galaga (PS1)
Tiger Shark (PS1)
Star Soldier (N64)
Mario Party 2 (N64)
Mario Party 3 (N64)
Yoshi's Story (N64)
Mortal Kombat 4 (N64)
All for around $50. More than I wanted to spend, but usually I find the Mario Party games for $20 or more each and Yoshi for at least $15 so I thought $7.99 - 10% was a good deal for them all.

Meh. I'll try. :P
Today's finds:
Peter Gabriel - Security
The Art Of Noise - In-No-Sense? Nonsense!
Madonna - I'm Breathless: Music From and Inspired by the Film Dick Tracy
$9 for the lot. The booth had a TON of good music. About four Beastie Boys albums, lots of Madonna, and so on - but he wanted $3 for a CD, or $5 for compilations! So I only bought these three. I can wait until Monday. He'll be gone, but his assistant always gives me a lower price...
And to top it off: American McGee's Alice, Windows, discs + key only for $3.
How come everybody's finding copies of this game all of a sudden? I finally found myself a copy on tuesday and the week before I found just disc 2*
Sales were pretty meh. There were only like 6 sales today. Found a cheap soldering iron for $1. This one will replace the crappy Radioshack one that I wore out. I also found Microsoft Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition and in the case was Microsoft Office Access 2003 upgrade. Methinks this is worth some money!!! (I hope the installs haven't been used up. If that's the case then at least the upgrade is worth something.)
I found a Garmin eMap handheld GPS for $2. This thing is mint in the original box, looks unused. Has a whopping 8 Mb of memory and a black & white LCD screen!!! Why in the heck do these things bring like $50 on eBay? It's 10 years old. I bought it figuring it was worth like $10-15.
*If anybody needs just disc 2 for this game let me know!
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

This beautiful artwork panel was saved from Best Buy since it was being replaced with the new Modern Warfare 2 one.

Assassin's Creed(360) $15
Ninja Gaiden III(Nes) $10
Haunted Casino(Saturn)$15
Smallville seasons 1, 2 and 8 $10 each
I Am Legend $2
Modern Warfare 2(360) $20

The PS1 games and GBA games on the right were from a few days previous that I posted about without a picture, so I just tossed them in here. The 3 DS games and 2 Pokemon GBA games were $22 total at the seller's asking price. Advance wars and Nintendogs are missing the manuals.
This morning we needed to get out, so on the way somewhere else we stopped at Unique, where I got NES Bases Loaded 3 ($1.80) for the collection, and Goodwill, where I found PS1 Pandemonium 2 for 4.99. Disc has some scratches, but should play fine.
