First, I didn't know this existed, very cool. Would be nice if there was something like this for USB/PC, so I don't have to buy 3 separate devices.
Second, I suppose it's possible, since the device is probably just remapping the old controllers to interface like a Gamecube/Wii wired controller.
Third, says it was supposed to come out in June, did it?

Ah, so it only has a SNES and NES port? Well, at around $20, not bad, considering Retro Zone's are that price for just NES or SNES to Wii. Apparently, no one has figured out N64 to Wii yet.

What is the button Mapping on those??
I know on the SNES Retroport Wii/GC Selete is button Z
I just bought this
http://www.japanvideogames.com/Produ...i-898455678550
The button mapping is straightforward:
N64 A = GC A
N64 B = GC B
N64 L = GC L
N64 R = GC R
N64 Z = GC Z
N64 Start = GC Start
N64 D-Pad = GC D-Pad
N64 C-Pad = GC C-Stick
N64 Analog = GC Analog
SNES A = GC A
SNES B = GC B
SNES X = GC X
SNES Y = GC Y
SNES L = GC L
SNES R = GC R
SNES Select = GC Z
SNES Start = GC Start
SNES D-Pad = GC D-Pad
NES A = GC A
NES B = GC B
NES Select = GC Z
NES Start = GC Start
NES D-Pad = GC D-Pad
Gen A = GC A
Gen B = GC B
Gen C = GC X
Gen Start = GC Start
Gen D-Pad = GC D-Pad
Does that 4 in 1 work? Because if it's lag free and the button assignments are correct then that's the perfect adapter.
It works
But plugging in a 6 Button Genesis Pad only works in 3 Button Mode , So no
GC - L,R,Y & Z
Just an update. Apparently the N64 port on that 4-in-1 doesn't work right. It also sheds some light on why Komodo dropped N64 support from their own converter.
The problem is the placement of the Z button on the GCN controller vs. the N64 pad. The control scheme for N64 games on the Virtual Console, and even games like Smash Bros. Melee, have different button mappings.
When playing Smash Bros., the Z button on the N64 pad doesn't do the same thing as the Z button on the GCN pad when playing Melee. Basically, the L button on the GCN pad has the same command that was previously mapped to Z.
So when you plug in an N64 pad into a converter, it maps Z (N64) to Z (GCN) which renders the entire thing screwy. So when you push Z on the N64 pad you're not going to get the move that you'd expect.
The problem is that the layout changes differ from game to game so there's no convenient way to get an N64 pad to work right with all N64 VC games and dedicated GCN games like Melee.
