I didn't get a chance to today, but found nothing like what some of you people have come up with.
Nice house Cornelius. Do I recall correctly that you make your living mainly on reselling games? If so, that's a pretty nice asset you have to show for it!

I'm quite jealous. Very nice find with a Nomad for that price.

    Wow, wow, wow!

(Camera screwed up....its taking yellowed pictures....)

$71 complete on eBay. I got tired of trying to wait for a copy of this to (maybe?) show up at one of the limited thrifts/fleas in the area. It was money well spent, though!
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

I don't know what's up with me and valuable genny games lately but...

Picked up a complete Mutant League Hockey for $10 at Play n' Trade this Evening.

Also took a gamble on Ranger X complete for $5 because it looked fun and was in awesome condition.

No, not me. Buying/selling is the only way I can afford to add to my collection. More accurate, I suppose, is to say it is the only way I can justify my collecting habit. I have the best job ever as a stay-at-home dad, but somehow paying my own way for the collection seems appropriate. Not sure what I'll do when I grow up...

Nice Nomad find city! Don't sweat the AA holder, it is pretty useless anyway.

Kyle: congrats on the Valyrie Profile. I only ever found disc 1, loose in the wild and consider that lucky. Fortunately I managed to sell the disc and find a cased copy (no manual) for that same price. Still looking for a manual, though.

Kyle: Valkyrie Profile is an awesome game, $75 may not be cheap but it's certainly money well spent.

I got REALLY lucky on my copy. Snagged it at Gamestop for $32 with the manual, no case. Excellent condition otherwise. Found a guy online with the case and no game and he ended up just giving it to me for free.

Got two pretty mediocre "finds" today. Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 for the PSOne, and American Chopper 2 for the Xbox. I've always been a fan of the Army Men series, and the game was $2. I fully expect that American Chopper will be a horrible game, but I used to watch the show, and the game was a buck--perhaps one dollar too much, but I'll cope with it.

edit: Army Men: Air Attack 2, not Sarge's Hero's 2. I got confused because the booklet in the case was flipped, so it was showing an ad for Sarge's Hero's 2.

Stuff I've gotten so far this year...

    Consoles
    --
    Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (PS2) - $8
Sonic Chaos (Game Gear) - $6 (cart only)
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) (Christmas gift)
The Ooze (Genesis) (cart only) -- this and the two below I got together on EBay for ~$13
Solar Striker (Game Boy) (cart only)
    Blazing Lazers (TurboGrafx-16) (cart only)
NBA Jam (Genesis) (cart only) -- this and the next two two were $2 total.
Outrun (Master System) (has a cool SMS poster in the case, too... )
Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II
Phelios (Genesis) (cart only) - $5

I also got a Sega Team Tap II (or whatever it's called) for the Genesis. That is, the Sega multitap with two wires and two modes, so it'll work with any multitap-compatible game on the Genesis. MULTI mode (and either one or two wires plugged in, it doesn't matter) for Team Tap titles, EXTRA mode (and make sure to have both wires plugged in) for EA 4-Way Play titles. It was $2. Quite nice.

In addition, I got some PC games...

First, ones I got on disc.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (complete) -- these first six were $1 each. Awesome price for Galactrix!
    Screamer (jewelcase only)
    Sacred Plus (jewelcase only)
Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness (in papersleeve)
    Luxor 2 (in cardboard sleeve)
Block Party 2 (in cardboard sleeve) (contains Mozaki Blocks Deluxe and Cubis 2)

Front Page Sports: Ski Racing -- these last five were $1.50 each, and all are jewelcase only.
    MDK
    MegaRace II
    Amok
    Cyberia

I also got two games on GOG.com during their holiday sale. $3.80 each I believe.
    --
    Descent 3 + Mercenaries
    FreeSpace 2

And finally, I got stuff on Steam as well during their holiday sale... including some actual newer games (well, other than the DS game). Awesome.
    --
    Trine - $5
    Mass Effect - $5
    Shattered Horizon - $5
    Street Fighter IV - $10
Medieval II: Total War - $5
    Evil Genius - $2
Jade Empire: Special Edition - $3.50
    Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast - $2.50

Some amazing prices there for some pretty good games... very nice sale on Steam. I'm not a fan of Steam, but when the prices are that low I can't refuse...

My fiancee picked these up for me on Tuesday from PnT:

    Playstation 1 Longbox
    Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
    Mortal Kombat 3
    Tekken
    Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game

    Sega Saturn
    Mortal Kombat II

Why did they ever make those horrible plastic insert cases for Saturn? The ones with the cheap black support in the spine and the protector in the case, like with Mortal Kombat II? It leaves the spine/back insert open to the elements and just looks horrible.

I guess having a hard time to find VP (even here) is natural. Think DP should bump its rarity rank anytime soon?

Because I was wrapped up with other games, I missed out on taking advantage of GS's big PS1 sale. Back when they'd actually ship stuff to other stores for their customers, I could have bought VP really cheap. Not to mention Persona 2 and more....

Anyway, congrats on finding it that cheap. IIRC, I may have only ever run into one copy at GS. I didn't buy it back then, but I would have if I had been informed of the game's greatness.
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

I've found 4 copies in the past 3 months in the wild - it just depends on whether or not you're looking for it. I picked mine up for $80, btw.

I've only seen about three in the past 4 years! Its been on my list for a while, but the copies I've found have all been incomplete and too expensive.

I've seen the copies range from $80-$160. The two $80 copies were at neighboring Play-N-Trades that often trade out Playstation 1 RPGs. The one I picked up was originally $120, but since the other Play-N-Trade sold theirs for $80, I got it for $80. I was fortunate enough at the time to get a Buy2Get2 deal in which I picked up Vanguard Bandits, PSOI&II (Gamecube) and PSOI&II Plus (Gamecube). $40 for each of those games isn't a bad deal

I saw the other two for $120 and $160, respectively, at the flea market and a pawn shop.

I keep forgetting to post that I got a CIB Atari Jaguar today from whoamonger. I wish it didn't have the small hole in the cardboard packaging under the AC adapter, but I can't complain for the price.

Finally got a decent find today, first one in a long time now. At Goodwill I found the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack for $11--not a great price, but better than eBay. After that I went to Cash Converters and found an N64 DexDrive for $10. I know I over payed, but it's complete in box, and I actually intend on (trying) to use it. Good thing my computer still has a floppy drive.

I also found three Dreamcast games for $5 each: Wetrix+, Chicken Run, and Deep Fighter. Looking in the guide, it turns out that Deep Fighter is an R5, and it's in great shape, much better shape than most jewel case games I find these days.
