How much are complete copies of Vanguard Bandits and Tactics Ogre going for these days? I'm trying to find each locally, but don't know what I should pay for them.

A local store is asking $95 for a disc-only Tactics Ogre in fair condition. May your local stores not take Amazon as Gospel, and I wish you the best of luck.
And when you do get it, I hope you actually play it.

$95 for a disc-only Tactics Ogre is WAY too much. Even on eBay you can get a complete copy for less than that. A disc-only copy should be $50 at the absolute highest.
Complete copy range between $80-130. Again I find the price to be ridiculously high. I would go with the Japanese version since they are $20 at Playasia.

Since we're on the topic of Atlus games, how about a complete Ogre Battle: Limited Edition?
Using Amazon wouldn't be such a bad idea if people couldn't just put whatever price they wanted on something and have it sit there until the end of time, hoping that others see their item as the only one there and thus a guideline.
I thought about listing a game (let's say, Shenmue II. Dreamcast. PAL version.) at an abnormally high price just to see if some lazy bastard in Louisville would find my listing, knock 5 bucks off it, and slap it on the next copy that ends up around here.
My point is - using Amazon is not only lazy, it's also inaccurate. But Ebay completed auction listings... you know, the ones in green, that actually sold... that would require that thing called "effort".

I once slapped $60 on a strategy guide for Tekken that I found, since one was listed for $65 on Amazon. Someone actually purchased it...one of my best purchases for <$10. I bring this up because I purchased Tactics Ogre from Blockbuster for $10 in 2005, disc-only. I wish I sold it back when the disc was selling for $100 on eBay, but I can't complain. It's a great game, and was well worth the playthrough.
Speaking of Tactics Ogre, I found a store that has a complete copy for $70. I was thinking about it, but I dunno about paying $70 for a PS1 game...
I've seen Tactics Ogre CIB get to be $100, so I don't think $70 is that bad unless it's gone down in price recently. It all depends, really, on your location and if you think you can find one on Craigslist or another store, thrift store or yard sale or something.
It was the first Ogre Battle on PlayStation that came with memory card stickers.
You can get Tactic Ogre for cheap if you are lucky. I did manage to pick one up on Craigslist for $5 complete.

Well, that kind of goes without saying for all games. You can find a complete Stadium Events if you're lucky like that one lady on eBay. :P
Tactics Ogre is fairly uncommon, so it takes much more luck to find one cheap than, say, Final Fantasy VII.
Currently, Tactics Ogre complete goes for anything between 95-100+ on average (providing everything is in very good condition ofcourse).
Eh, $95 is a bit high for the "average" low. I've seen multiple complete, good-condition copies end for around $50 in the last couple of months.
I went ahead and calculated the current eBay average and it only goes out to $60.99: $70 if you round up. Things can change quickly, of course.
Personally, I would definately pick up a complete copy for $70 provided the chance. I lucked out and got one for $1.99 last year at the Salvation Army, so there's always the option to check there if $70 feels too much. Searches for it in the wild can tend to get lengthy, though.
