Almost no sales today (2!) because of the snowy/cold weather.

I stopped by Salvation Army and got...

    Friends Season 1 for $1.99
Golgo 13 (the anime movie) VHS for $0.99
Gorillaz Demon Days on CD for $0.99 (woot, been looking for this one).

And I also stopped by a local games store and got...

    Tutankham (2600) for $2.95
    The Untouchables (NES) for $4.95

Yet another NES game for the collection, it's an R3 according to the DP guide, but I think that it should perhaps be raised up to an R4-5. This is the first time I've seen this game in the wild and it seems to rarely show up in lots on eBay.

Tutankam looks pretty fun, and I think I'm going to play it now while my Atari 2600 Jr is hooked up

EDIT: I also got an RCA "TV Joypad Console" at Salvation Army. It's interesting, but I'm betting it's some sort of famiclone.
And I forgot to mention that Salvation Army was having a 25% off sale, so everything I got there was actually 1/4 less than I posted.

eBay reselling? They cost me around $3, I figure selling the set for $20 shipped would be nice :P

My only local Sears has, for the past two years, never put anything on clearance. Their "clearance" bin is full of price-cut stickers with the MSRP on them. Having them rung-up reveals that they're price as marked. Lord...

At least you had some luck at one of their other locations.
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

That sucks, ours always has clearance. Maybe try complaining to corporate or something, I assume its supposed to be a universal clearance?

I was being lazy and hadn't bothered to go for a while because I hate going to the mall, probably if I went last week there would still be multiple copies of Pikmin and MadWorld left but I only found one.

Not a misprint. Mine still has MLB 2005 and Who Wants To Be a Millionaire for the PS1 for the low price of $19.88 each. Most wal marts just don't clearance anything.

My local store just said "Fuck it" and made every game in the clearance rack $15.

    Some were $5 last week.

That chip thing is cool. It looks like it's for the 2600, try putting one of those chips in there and see if anything boots up. I might be interested in that...

Anyway, I got Tempo Jr. and Surf Ninjas on the Game Gear. The former is definitely better than the latter.

I'm thinking about trying that. Although, I don't really know how to go about doing so without looking....demanding or odd. It doesn't hurt to try, I guess.

One of the local Wally-Worlds just brought out two fresh stacks of Twisted Metal (one of the newer PS1 releases) and a PS1 Winnie The Pooh game. They are all yours for the nice sum of $19.88 a piece!

I'd grab at least a copy of Twisted Metal. There isn't a single new copy on Amazon so you could set the price for it.
