Nice finds! I didn't get out yesterday, so I'm heading out later this morning to look around some. Surprised you bought something from CGX in Frisco as I go in that store to look but never buy anything due to their high, high, high prices! Anything that even LOOKS different is placed in a case with the price jacked up.

Apparently they closed their Town East location and rolled the inventory from there out to all of their other stores. They all seem to have a lot of new stuff, but I'm with you on their prices. I wanted to buy about 7 or 8 Genesis games, but since they want an additional $40 to sell them with the boxes, I laughed and walked out. Probably won't ever go back in there as it's just a waste of time now.

My find this week
Techwar - $2.97
Kengo - $4.97
Coca cola glowing bottle - free. Reminds me of Nuka Cola from Fallout 3.

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! EVERYWHERE!
AT THE DOCK SALE! AAUGH!
Oh well, it was a C64 day today. I found a few boxed C64 diskette games: Winter Games (Haha) and Zaxxon, maybe some others as I can't remember and a boxed Epyx Fast Load cartridge thingy. I also was lucky enough to find a Wico Command controller (the 2600 plug version) and 2 Wico "Ergo" joystick things, they look like the Epyx 500XJ joysticks. Interesting. The Ergo Sticks also have 2600 plugs. I tried them a little and they feel to be well made, as most Wico stuff is.
Also got some CDs; nothing interesting. A few bands I don't recognize, a copy of Monopoly Tycoon, and some others. One album is called "Tales From the Punch Bowl" or something like that. It's too cold to back to the car and check.
Mixed with the older PC stuff I found a minty boxed TEAC 5.25" floppy drive. Score!
Final thing was a boxed copy of Trump Casio (or some Trump gambling game or another). Dunno if it's worth anything, but it's neat.
Also, the VHSs you guys saw the other day were covered in snow. Not a great loss I think.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

Hit a couple of Goodwills today looking for picture frames for some of my art, but struck out on that front. Did find a couple of gaming items though:
Formula One (Genesis) mint missing manual $1.99
Game of Life (PS1) mint complete $1.99
Project Gotham Racing 2 - Soundtrack Series by Malaco/Microsoft $1.99
---EDIT--- Did some research and this is the "HipHop" release, as there were 3 PGR2 Sountracks released - Hiphop, Electronica, Alt. Rock
Stoked to find stuff that I needed for the collection, plus my FIRST gaming soundtrack in the wild! NICE!

wait... what?
...for $3.99 I can't complain...
isn't Spike McFang kinda tough to find anyway?
Closet Monsters: Custom and Retro Game Plushies Obesolete.etsy.com
it was pretty common for scummy people to rent a good game and swap the board out with a shitty one. I feel sorry for the person who buys a copy of spike mcfang and ends up with an uber shitty fighting game ;-)
Spike McFang is a bit obscure, but not that expensive. How did people even swap circuit boards in the 90's anyways?

This for $80 from a local guy. The inside is in awesome condition, but it doesn't work right now. I've got $50 in parts ordered from Bob Roberts, to see if I can fix it.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered a: monitor cap kit, a board cap kit, a AR board rebuild kit, and a new "Big Blue." After I finish these I'll see where I stand, and maybe give this a go. There's only 4 socketed chips on the board, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Although I do remember it too me quite some time to add a socket for the Z80 on my DK board.
Brigandine was part of a $21.50 bagged PS1 set at Salvation Army that included a system, 2 controllers (both with PSM Final Fantasy VII stickers on the plugs), RFU adaptor, Ridge Racer Revolution, GH Jet Moto, PlayStation Magazine 06 and a bonus SaGa Frontier disc in the system. Unfortunately, it is missing the manual, but it does have the map.
Bust A Groove was $3.99 at Goodwill.
Not too shabby.
Original NES controller - $0.50 :/
