Sorry to dig this up but did you find any Windows drivers for Guncon 3 on the PC? - I did some research and found some working Linux drivers but I'm not familiar with that OS. I've been going through some of my old boxes and would love to get this light gun working on my PC through an emulator. Just to update, I used this Windows driver update software and it actually picked up a driver.

unfortunately no seems like a sad missed opportunity.
Linux drivers are all I've seen as well. forum.arcadecontrols.com would be the place to check for something like this but I didn't see anything. Seems people these days are going with AimTrak or similar guns. Much less hassle and you can even get guns with recoil.
I was looking into similar options for a bit last year. I managed to get a Wii remote(in a gun shell) working with Mame on an LCD monitor and played Time Crisis for a bit but lost interested...like I said, too much hassle to get it all working. My Mame cabinet does use Guncon 2 lightguns with drivers someone had made for them years ago...it mostly works.
