Pretty much what the title says. Any working PS3 will do. All I ask is that it has a box, it's in good condition, and it comes with a 1st party controller. I'm pretty flexible on the terms of the trade so don't be afraid to shoot me some offers.

Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes not divine, but demonic.

What chip does the PS2 have?

I'm really not sure. It's a PS2 fat that I purchased off of these forums a couple of years ago (already chipped). All I can tell you is that to play archived PSX games you have to hold in the power button a little longer then if you play an archived PS2 game (it's the chip function and not a problem with the chip or system). Everything I have played on it works perfectly and I have played games from different countries, different formats, and both archived and original discs. It's an all internal mod and doesn't require a flip-top, disc, or any other extra tool.

Cool. I'm actually searching for a system with one of a few specific chips for playing PAL games. Want to get the auto Y fix option. I'm guessing this is not one of them. Thanks for the info though!

Come to think of it I don't think I ever tried a PAL game (no reason for me to). I can try but for now I will assume that it does not play PAL games.
