Default My PS3 died... how hard is a PSU replacement job?

My JDM 60g PS3 died the other day

Since I got it (3? 4?) years ago I've NEVER shut it off; just left it in standby.

I've used it for playing Blu-Rays 99% of the time and GTA4 the other 1%.

I went to turn it on the other day and noticed the standby light was off. I turned the switch on and off, no change. Unplugged it overnight, no change.

I ordered a new power supply on ebay for $25. Guaranteed to fit the 20/60g.

How hard is this to replace? I've had the top cover off before to clean any dust out... how much deeper do I need to go?

It is extremely easy if you want to do it yourself. Mind you you have to be comfortable opening up any equipment.

There's many tutorials on youtube and you can find quite a few on google.

I used this tutorial when I went to fix my 60gb.

Oh, awesome. I've been that deep before and all I need to do is remove a few more screws! haha
