If you pretend the main character is being played by James Woods it makes the game much more awesome.

Man, I want this now. From looking at the box at Gamestop I thought it was one of those Dreamcatcher style point and click games that are released with no hype, and even then I was going to buy it, but the real story sounds much more interesting.
Why the fuck not, getting it this weekend
Just ordered it off of Amazon, seeing as none of the local retailers here bothered to stock it. Cheap and weird is right up my alley.

So I am a bit confused, is this out on ps3 now, or coming to ps3 later?

Far as I understand it, it's only available on PS3 in Japan and Asia, and an English edition is coming to Asia, but it isn't coming out domestically for the PS3. And the Asia English edition is something like $65 or $70 versus the $20 for the US Xbox one. I broke down and grabbed it for Xbox today

Actually it was just recently Play-Asia took down the English Asian version listing, so it's all still up in the air. Someone from Ignition posted a comment on their Deadly Premonition board regarding the release of the PS3 version.
The comment leaves a window open and judging from his comment, I think that it may be released more sooner than later. We intended to release the PS3 version alongside the 360 version but that was changed due to reasons I can't talk about. Though with the 360 version going over so well maaaayyybe that will be rectified. No promises though.
It wasn't really a rumor, it was falsely reported by one site and then after that debunked, Play-Asia made a listing for a English version and then suddenly took it down say it was "canceled". I did read however that the game is still very much playable and that most of the dialogue is spoken.
I have to admit, I just started the second half of chapter two and I'm REALLY digging the storyline. I'm surprised at how well-written this is turning out to be. It's a shame the gameplay has to be so horrible.

I will be picking up a copy later tonight. Not that Alan Wake looks bad, quite the contrary, but Deadly Premonition looks like the game I envisioned and wanted Alan Wake to be.

has the asia version english voices?
I bought it day 1 off of Amazon, played a bit into it and on Eposide 2 and it's not great but not bad either....just hate having to wait till your mission opens up, is it me or is no local shops in the game ever open?....been waiting to checkout the diner and it seems to never open up or I miss it....tried peaking it the windows.

I want this to play when me and my buddy are drinkin'. Booze can only seem to make this game better. Or spur on Mystery Science Theater commentary.
Now this is a good biscuit. I've never tasted a biscuit this delicious...I am very particular about biscuits, I'll have you know. The balance of milk and butter you've achieved here...oh my...

Okay so I picked up this game over the weekend, it's good! despise what IGN said and Destructoid's hilarious review, I really like the game. It feels like Dead Rising with the time, except the time... IS REAL TIME. it doesn't go by too slow or too fast.
Complaints? A few. Maybe one being that they loop the music over and over and over again, it gets annoying. ALSO, sometimes it can get to slow, and for a small town why the fuck is it so big? Like... everyone lives so far away!
I have not gotten to far into it, but I am really enjoying it, got that, Zach?
