U GAIZ JUST DONT LIKE CHANGE , (builds a artificial foundation here)
You're not even familiar with Mimi Nakamura!
She's apparently a model, and she never posts pictures of herself that include her face, for some godforsaken reason. I was just commenting on that point sarcastically with a "Pretty as always!" (Though I'm not saying she's not a pretty lady). If you actually knew something about this user then maybe you'd have known that and you wouldn't be making stupid comments and taking my sarcastic remarks seriously.
I swear, if you have anything else to say you should do it now. You've come back to DP twice after being banned, and apparently you have a reason for doing it. You'll be banned yet again soon.

I swear, are you incapable of making a post that doesn't come off as, uh, troll-y?
Just about everything in existence is commonplace in Tokyo. That doesn't mean the entire rest of Japan is the same. Camarotuner didn't state any particular city he'd be visiting. I already said that there are certain areas and groups of people that would be more accepting. The whole point of my post was to say that as a whole Japan is less accepting of tattoos than the US, and I'd say that's a fair assessment, even if the tides are turning over time.

If you take a look at that tattoo themed media that comes from Japan and compare it to what comes from the USA, the exact opposite seems more likely and believable. Not to turn this into a lesson about tattoo culture, be you see a many more back pieces and arm pieces as common place tattoo designs. The key word her is 'pieces'. By sheer volume, Japan seems more body suit tattoos than anything else. This indicates acceptance on their part that we just don't see here.
Hmmm, I should clarify my question. I'm not worried about if japanese culture finds tattoos socially acceptable. My main question was if I go to japan am I likely to get some tail while I'm there based solely on being a bald white guy who's heavily tattooed? Cause it works pretty well here. Woman want the whole "bad boy" image, even if only for a short while. Was wondering if it was the same there. Because if so, would make for a fun vacation. =)
