A complete copy of Captain Rainbow for the Wii came in yesterday courtesy of a US seller on eBay. Nobody else placed a bid, and I won it for $9.99!

In Heaven, everything is fine.
- Hori Fighting Commander PC [as in PC Engine] - I already own and love the SFC Fighting Commander, so I felt safe with this for SFII'. A previous owner modded it, one might say, by cutting down the turbo switches for IV and V to be just about level with the controller face. Sure, it's not mint, but I actually rather like this mod, as it's really easy to flip the leftmost switches by accident on the stock controller. I remedied this on my SFC pad by simply taking out all of the switches and replacing them with some strips of black rubber I cut down. But this mod fixes the issue AND leaves all switches usable.
- Final Fantasy XIII - after hearing specifics about the gameplay, I was not too excited about this one, but I got a deal on a used copy ($20-ish), so we'll see how it goes.
- Akutagawa Ryuunosuke volume of Nihon Kindai Bungaku Taikei - yeah, it's not gaming related, but it is an import, so what the heck. :P
Capcom Retro Game Collection Vol. 5 - Cool little hardcover book with the game disc on the last page. A re-release of Capcom Generation Vol. 5
Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter EX Edition - Only version of MSHvsSF I was missing. I also have it on US PS1 and JPN Saturn.
Dracula X needs no introduction here. It's complete except for the obi strip, but I'm not really big on those anyways. I made a best offer of $76 on ebay and it was accepted. This is my first game for my new Duo-R, as well as a personal grail for me.
The SFC game is Umihara Kawase. It's a unique platformer where you control this little girl who wields this strange fishing line-like grappling hook. You use this hook to make it to the exit in some really abstract levels in the shortest amount of time possible. The game also employs a very realistic physics engine and the level design takes advantage of this mechanic. Very cool game! I got this for $49 off of ebay because nobody else bid on it.

I don't mean to pry, but who did you get Umihara Kawase from? They've probably got some other great deals too! Seriously, your picture and price is making me drool...
Anyway, I got a complete copy of Silent Hill 2 in Japanese for $9.99 on eBay last week. Nobody else placed a bid and it was mine! Even though I've got the English releases already, I can't pass up the cooler package art. Getting the whole series in Japanese is a little goal of mine.
In Heaven, everything is fine.
This is the auction here. The guy does actually have some pretty good stuff in his store. I got pretty lucky with this game....right place, right time!

I have also won several imports from palet_th at low prices.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.
My import this week
Ouendan 2 from CL for $15
Initial D & Bleach PSP for $5 each
.:Collection Pics:.
I just got this in the mail and couldn't wait to post some pictures!
This is the very first Sakura Taisen limited edition. It comes with a set of decals, Saturn mouse, and mouse pad. There is an "A" and "B" version of this set. The only difference is what picture you get on the pad, but the decals may be different too.
The game case had a cool poster inside that doubles as a map. I'm pretty sure it came with every copy regardless, so I'm not counting that as a bonus just yet. Pretty cool either way.
I won it in this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
(I also posted this in the June finds thread. Sorry if that's counted as double-posting or the like.)
In Heaven, everything is fine.
Just won a Dreamcast import demo but I won't know what game it is until it arrives.

Found Dragonball: Final Bout for the PS1, Japanese version, for $4.94 in a thrift store this afternoon. For some reason, I've started having pretty good luck in finding imports in thrift stores and flea markets in the past year or two.
I recently brought a game called Bakuretsu Muteki Bangai-O for the Nintendo 64. Once the converter I ordered from play-asia comes in the mail, I'm going to give it a go.
In Heaven, everything is fine.
Aww thanks, I totally will! I paid about $55 dollars for it at my local flea market. ^^ It included the game, manual, cart holder, and the box. ^^ I did some research online and learned that about 10,000 copies were made and sold only in Japan so I felt lucky that I was fortunate enough to brought it while it still exist out there.

Nope, I never played Sin and Punishment before but I have read about it during my research on Bangai-O. I also have read of good things about Sin and Punishment and that it was a masterpiece on the N64 with a comfortable control interface. I might look into securing a copy in the near future!
