Gar, makes me wish I had taken french as my second language in school (instead of that OTHER language :P)
In all seriousness, very nice looking overall.

Hello KOGAMI
Sorry the question, maybe not in the right place, but you could run Phatasy Star IV translated into mega drive? I ask this' cause this is one of the few games that I could not run, and remember other people also failed, but have a vendor here in my parents selling the game translated, as I'm sure this game was not officially translated into my language, I believe that it is rescheduling the game
if you have longer runs would pass me the schedule please?
link his product to sell

Yes I know this site
Thought I'd drop in my twopence as well Just finished making a translation of Madara for the Famicom... those Konami boards are a snap to modify!
Solder on only one side, no need to swap chip pins from mask to EPROM. Like I said, a snap.
VRC6 sounds nice
Wants:
Starflight Starmap and Code Wheel
Starflight II Starmap
Got these for sale or trade? PM ME!!!
Very nice! I've actually really been wanting to start on the Madara series for awhile, but haven't been up for emulation. Seriously drooling over your handiwork. =p Wish I had the expertise/tools/steady hands to make these.
If you wanted to get into the repro scene, Madara is probably the easiest way in. The chips come out easily since there is only one side with solder and when installing the new chips, none of the pins need to be bent or swapped and no traces need cutting or rewiring.
The basic drag and drop swap. Definitely one for cutting teeth

Madara? Because it uses the VRC6 chip, there are only two donors: Madara itself and Esper Dream II. The Japanese version of CVIII also uses the VRC6 chip however it has no battery backup which Madara requires (Esper Dream II also happens to be MUCH harder to find, so you're pretty much limited to the one cart).

Actually I ask about any game.
For example, suppose I want to do SNES Rock 'n' Roll Racing. How do I know about its chips? And how to I know which other carts (to be sacrificed) will be compatible?
(I'm kinda new to this and have not started yet).

I tried to find a list like that without success. I guess I haven't found the correct search terms.
Anyway, I really appreciate you guys taking your time to answer questions like those. Thank you very much.

Hi, very very nice stuff !
I've seen on your post a Splatter House Nes (MMC3 hack + english patch)
I've made one myself but get some graphic glitches (on the background during the 1st level) and on the "level screen" where there is some english text. Did you have the same result ?
Maybe the order / made a mistake ?
Mine was done like that : ROM (J) => english patch => mmc3 hack => tnines software > PRG 128 ko / CHR 256ko

Hi, me too ichigobankai
Maybe this isn't the right place, but I would like ask a few questions about the Willem programmer. Please answer if you can:
1- You guys use USB or AC adapter for power?
2- Since it has no on/off button, can you simply connect/disconnect it with the computer turned on?
3- I've got one, but don't have an eprom yet. Is there a way I can test if it is working without actually recording an eprom?
4- Where do you buy your eproms? (Can you send a link by PM?)
5- I'd like to use it in my laptop, which does not have DB-25 parallel port. I found a PCMCIA to DB-25 (about 21 USD). Would that work?
Thanks again. Hopefully I can soon post my repros :-)
