Ah God Bless ya, lol. Gracias mate. Very flattering. I write for nostalgic gamers like you. I think there's a small niche band out there of early-mid '80s babies who grew up in similar towns with similar memories, and I just write things the way I want to read 'em, and as it turns out, there's a niche audience out there who understands completely where I'm coming from. The coolest compliment I ever received was when some guy told me he feels like through reading my various material I could well have been his cousin or best friend growing up. That just makes things seem like a small world...
RVG is nowhere near as popular or revered as HG101, Sega-16 and the other "big boys" out there, but I appreciate the love and gratitude you and others have sent my way throughout the past 3+ years. I feel like my site is that little mom n pop store in the corner... ran by one person... doesn't sway with changing of the guard... basic presentation... quirky style... unprofessional/unpredictable style... but that's just the way I like it. I wish I could update more often too. As long as you keep reading, I'll keep writing [He really means he'll keep writing 'til he grows weary or burns out -Ed.]
My next review will most likely be Super Mario World, and hopefully I can crank out another one or so before 2011. Cheers!
