The Ctrl+Alt+Del DVD was unwatchable. Even my 13 year old walked away less than 10 minutes into it. When spending only $1 for a DVD, you would think there's no way to be screwed, but I actually want my dollar back....

CAD has always been brutally awful and it's no surprise that the animated version (which is yet another ripoff of PA and PvP) is terrible. Even when I was in college and read every webcomic under the sun, I could not keep CAD in my rotation. It was just so nondescript. Reading that badcomics entry just confirmed I missed nothing.
Got 2 cd's at FYE
Winds of Plague (saw them monday and they were great!)
and GWAR! (cd/dvd combo!)
also at the goodwill i didn't see really anything except for this
American Mcgee's Alice
i am a huge fan of that game. this is the second copy i now own. the previous one i bought in like 2003 at a EB Games in their used pc games section for 5 bucks and the discs were scratched to hell barely working
this copy i just bought. I looked at the discs and they don't even look like they ever been used. not a single scratch or scuff mark period. The discs even felt tight in the case like they never been pulled out before. $1.99
I want that. The only motion sensing discount games at my local Targets are the PS3 Move games for $9.99(Get Fit With Mel B, The Shoot, The Fight: Lights Out, etc). I wish I could find some discounted Kinect games.
It was still just a dollar. I would have picked it up for that. It's not like you can't get your money back easily(or more). I've always found that most dollar finds are worth it, one way or another.

$1 each. Set includes:
Frankly A Capella: The Persuasions sing Zappa (UPC punch)
Mark Snow: Private Fears in Public Places (limited edition score, promo? sealed)
The Chemical Brothers: Surrender (needs resurfacing, won't rip)
Hiroshima: Go
McCoy Tyner with Stanley Clarke and Al Fester
I picked up the Escape from L.A. Soundtrack (won't rip, blargh), Warcraft III and a Bjork CD I couldn't see the title of (who the hell uses black ink on a black background?!) which is apparently called "Medúlla" for $2 total. I keep looking around and spot the three Project Gotham Racing 2 soundtrack CDs. I found volume 1 and 3, noticed I was missing 2 so I looked around and found it, and next to it there was a brand new promo copy of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood score by Jesper Kyd. The PGR CDs are mint but the front inserts have some moisture warping. Those were $4 (down from $5.)
Funny thing, I picked up the Assassin's Creed II promo score in that same area a year or so ago.
Bugs & Friends Sing The Beatles (Mexican issue!) - 20 Pesos (I found this at the Mexican flea market that sets up every Wednesday, three blocks away from my house)
V/A: Home Alone 2 Soundtrack - $1
OEM Works Suite 2003, brand new - $1
Mono: Formica Blues - $1 (hah, one of the songs in this thing was super popular when I was in high school, so I HAD to pick it up)
Office Mac 2004 Student Teacher edition (3 CD keys) + Picture It Premium 10: $5
Office Mac 2004 Student Teacher edition (3 CD keys) + Volfoss (PS1 import, complete, RPG by Namco) - $4
YEAH. Hellooooooooooooo new computer parts! Also that Volfoss thing. I have no idea what it's like but it was cheap so I got it. :P
Cibo Matto: Viva! La Woman
Warcraft II Battle.net Edition manual & Strategy Guide
$5 total. I couldn't find the Warcraft II Battle.net game that went with those books, but considering I have a spare copy of Warcraft II Battle.net around, I figured I'd get 'em to bundle with that game. (Either that or keep them, since I have Warcraft II Battle.net included in my copy of Warcraft III Limited Edition.) Cibo Matto sounded VERY familiar for some reason, so I picked it up. Apparently it's Japanese trip hop? None of the songs sound familiar. It seems they were in a Jet Set Radio album. Not sure what kind of music it is, but we'll see.

I can check my other local Target stores. That was the only copy I saw in this one. All they have had lately was 40 copies of Naughty Bear, Get Fit w/Mel B, The Shoot, The Fight, Trauma Team, and other assorted nonsense. They also had whatever the most recent Tony Hawk game was with a board for $50.
Find me on here http://www.soundcloud.com/lee-w-1
My Targets also have 50 million copies of Naughty Bear for $9.98. I wouldn't even pick it up for $5. As for the Tony Hawk game, it might be the new one but Best Buy is selling Tony Hawk: Ride(game and board) on clearance for $19.98(PS3 version).
I'm going to go to a few different Targets tomorrow to see if I can find anything else interesting.

At first glance, the disk in the upper right hand corner looked like it said Sweet Tits.
Hah. I saw that too.
What's the deal with that McKenzie & Co. game? Is it really worth $50?
From what I understand, yeah. It was a Highschool simulator game made by the people who did Mad Dog MCree. It's all full motion video so you could call it a FIRST person shooter dating sim if you wanted. There's only two on eBay right now, and one of them is just the 5 loose discs at $55.00. If I had a complete copy then who knows.
Here's a play through for anyone interested. It's horrible, horrible, horrible, but I can't disagree with the price. Also found a PC game called "learn Spanish now!" but when I opened it there was no disc. That's always a bummer.

Nope. The $55 and $79 versions have been listed for months and months. There are several disc only copies on Amazon for $30 or so. This one was relisted twice and is complete in pretty decent shape with the two bonus discs and didn't get any bids on the starting price of $55. http://cgi.ebay.com/McKenzie-Co-Vint...item1c197427e6
I've seen a couple new in box copies in the past year on Ebay go for $40-$50, but never an opened one let alone a disc only version hit those prices. I also don't know why someone would buy individual discs like Wingzrow listed, but I guess you never know.

I didn't really find much of anything today except this:
Miles Davis & Various Artists: Finding Forrester Original Soundtrack
Madacy 21 Winners: The Best of Chubby Checker
Christopher Lee Reads Tales of Mystery and Imagination (two cassette tapes)
You're probably wondering why I picked up that tape set. One, because Christopher Lee is fucking awesome. Two, because I remembered this post by Ryaan1234 from back in November where he lamented the fact that he didn't pick up a copy at his Goodwill lot sale.
I'm considering selling it since I don't have a tape player... there's two copies of this for $29 in Amazon. I might just list this for $25 and see if it flies.
I got in the mail what will be my last Ebay package for a VERY long time. It simply consisted of three CIB Colecovision games: Montezuma's Revenge, Omega Race, and Bump n' Jump. Grea games, so I am happy.
There will be nothing more for quite some time, as I desperately need to save cash in order to buy another car. Then after that, to save money.
But enough of that, I did go to my local classic game shop (owned by DP member "neojapan" and scored quite a few cheap $5 Saturn games, all complete. Besides that, not much.
Proud owner of a Neo 25 Neo Geo Candy Cab!
Went hunting with my best friend today. Scored a few things.
