Keep in mind that a Dex Drive will need to be recognized by a SERIAL port, and is typically only compatible with Windows 98/2000.
You can just buy an Serial to USB adapter. It'll work fine with XP and W7. Funny thing is the adapter will probably be twice the price of a Dexdrive. Still, you can pick both up for under $20.
