Do you keep them in their original boxes or do you just put them on a shelf / drawer / .... ?

DS cases are just about the most beautifully perfect clamshells ever invented. Why anyone would throw these away or not use them at all is beyond me. I store mine in their respective boxes, obviously.

Another vote for "in their original boxes".
You made me laugh, kupo!
Absolutely in the case for my games. I agree with QuickSciFi the cases are perfect. *sneers at flimsy GBA boxes*
My games are in their cases.... on shelves. My DS demos are in a bunch of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZS1P08 because well... those games come loose. I love those cases by the way.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Just like everyone else I keep them in their case. Ds cases are so sturdy that it's easy to store them in almost any position so I keep mine stacked on top of one another on one of my game shelves.

I found a way to store all my DS titles all on one cartridge it saves me from the trouble of lugging around all the cartridges.
Gamestop throws away the DS cases for games they sell used. Therefore never buy used games from Gamestop. That's where they make most of their money as well (used games).Originally Posted by QuickSciFi
But I store mine in the case as well. Also inside the case is the manual on top, all of the health hazards of using the game as well as the promotional offers are underneath. Sometimes, at the very bottom, I keep the original purchase receipt folded nicely therein. Every once in a while I'll also store a random GBA game for which I have no box. An example would be a Castlevania GBA game in a Castlevania DS box, but it's fairly rare that I do this.
Lastly, the boxes are arranged on a shelf in alphabetical order. A special light shines upon them so that all may see their glory.
I keep them in a small plastic container with a lid that my mp3 player came in. Is the perfect size for storing my 40 or so DS cartridges.
I don't see any need to inconvenience myself by keeping them in their original cases. And I can't imagine the stress of removing them multiple times from the case can be that great for them. Although I've noticed it isn't as bad with some of my later DS releases like Intellivision Lives, most of my DS cases almost have a death grip on the cartridge.
Maybe some kind of plastic binder page with pockets would be better for the carts, but I'd still want to store the cases somewhere, nice as they are, so there wouldn't be much point.
