There was a 2nd one coming out? I second this, then, because The Magic of Scheherazade 1 is one of the best ever unknown titles for NES.

I'd like to mention Taro's Quest for NES. It was a turn-based episodic RPG made by Jaleco akin to Phantasy Star 3. There's a dump of a prototype floating around, and it's got some of the best production values for an NES RPG.

From the makers of Chester the Cheeta, nah I'll think I'll pass.

I'm interested in that streets of Rage clone that was canceled for the Mega Drive because it looked too much like Streets of Rage 2.

I'm interested in Gargoyles Quest II GB (released in Japan as Makaimura Gaiden The Demon Darkness, but an English proto apparantly existed since it was reviewed in Nintendo power), Black Tiger NES, and Zero Racers for Virtual Boy.

Although your own classification could vary, It'd be easy enough to consider one of the "BS Zelda" games to be considered such.

On the note of Zelda, though, probably Ura-Zelda and the earlier versions of Zelda 64.

Never knew it was released in Japan though, that's cool. Always liked looking at the box art on Snescentral. It's very fantastical, definitely a step up from Elemental Master.

Or if you want a late SNES era, Nintendo-developed game that took inspiration from Link to the Past and was also the first Nintendo game created by current Zelda director Eiji Aonuma, there's Marvelous: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvelo..._no_Takarajima

Absolutely wonderful game, it's a shame that almost no one knows of it.

Hmm anything on the Nintendo 64DD. Expansions or just any of the games in general such as a larger Zelda or Pokemon Snap etc, if the DD would have came out earlier and had more support, the games would have been amazing.

Ask for other systems, hmm Sonic X-treme for the Saturn or Half-Life on the Dreamcast which runs wonderfully btw, just SLOW loading screens -.-

Well, yeah, NOW I can. I can also emulate the superior arcade version. As a teen in the early 90's, importing a Super Famicom and games was rather cost prohibitive for me.

Of course looking at what people are asking for it now on Ebay...

It's a neat premise. Game play wise it's very similar to genesis wolf team games like el viento, valis, and valis 3. If I'm not mistaken it was canceled (along with quest for the throne a.k.a. neugier) because sega bought out the publisher, Renovation. That's what I've heard anyway.

Sorry, very lame, shameful attempt at "humor".
When the people playing were struggling, like "how would anyone make that jump, no wonder it was canceled"?
Hopefully if it did come out, the manual would've mentioned the ropes.

RTFM = Read the ****ing manual. I didn't know this until two seconds ago. I was really confused myself.

    Chrono Break/Brake.

Okay it may have never got beyond the design or even trademark stage but I still want to see it.

Dragon's Crown, which was orginally a Dreamcast game, is now being released for consoles. So there's hope for all these games even 10 years down the line!

The original Thunder Force VI, as it would have been by Tecno Soft.

It had to have been better than the underwhelming thing we got in its stead a decade later.

    Where do I begin...?

    Mother 3 / EarthBound 64
    Dinosaur Planet
    Twelve Tales: Conker 64
Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64DD extension
    Eternal Darkness
    Quest 64 II
    Kirby's Air Ride
    64 Wars
    Viewpoint 2064
    Resident Evil Zero
    Echo Delta

And pretty much any prototypes for the N64DD. Hell, I'd love to see any and all prototype and unreleased material for the N64DD, be made public on the internet. EVERYTHING. That add-on is so full of mystery, promises, announced titles, features, concepts and who knows what was never mentioned outside of Nintendo, it's second parties and any of the third parties who had their mits in the N64DD cookie jar.

The N64DD is one of the biggest mysterious failures in video games and I can't wait for the N64 scene to pick up so we can finally see what this add-on was all about.

*writes something about forgetting previous systems, but remembers something else*

While most of the good stuff has been found for the NES, SNES and Genesis, the 32X is another system with an astonishing lack of dug up protos and unreleased games, despite all the massive development cancellations. There are countless numbers of 32X games which still, to this day, have not surfaced. WHAT THE HELL?! The proto guys need to start digging up those games.
