Xbox Live Rewards... Points explosion!

People are getting their rewards point totals for the month deposited multiple times.
I checked my account, and I had 600 extra points added to my account, when I should have only recieved 100 for the month. Not as many points as some are getting, I'm definitely not rolling in "teh moneyz", but yeah, big goof on the Reward program's part.

I didn't get any extra points but it's not like I need them. The Rewards Program for XBL has been very generous to me from the very start.

Heh, that was my first thought... but then, wouldn't that make me a virtual looter or something?Actually, there's just not much I want to buy in the sub 600 point range. I'm rolling the dice and hanging on to them for now.
Some people on GAF are claiming they got over 1600 points due to the screw up. Crazy.

This definitely happened to me, but they reduced it to the proper amount before I realized what had happened.
