"Leisure Suit Larry 5" Sealed 3.5 Macintosh Version

I just happened to snag a couple of these on Ebay couple of nights ago. I was researching for a while, came across a real variety of prices, anywhere from a couple of dollars to twenty bucks on Amazon.

Anyone know more about these?

Just a few thoughts. I have never had good luck with Ebay liquidators on old PC or Mac games. The boxes are almost always banged to heck and they generally choose the cheapest shipping option, no padding, etc...which means unless you just need the discs, you're not getting a collectible copy. The other potential issue with Sierra games is it could be a "Slash" package which was a company that came in during the late 90s and licensed the rights to re-release lower cost versions of Sierra games. Often, this meant fuzzy box art, black and white photocopied manuals, cheap quality boxes and non-color disc labels. Sierra collectors are pretty stubborn about not buying Slash stuff for their collection and therefore the value is next to nothing. Finally, Mac versions of Sierra games are generally significantly lower in value even if it is a legitimate copy. It's just the fact that many computer game collectors prefer the PC simply because there are better tools for playing older games and the market just puts a higher value on the PC version for multiplatform releases. So, maybe you scored a deal here, but more than likely you didn't.
