Pretty much sums up my feelings as well.
I really love the vita hardware but was expecting some big game announcements and am pretty bummed with what we got. That Assassin's Creed game looks great but the story had broken a bit before E3 so that was no surprise. What I really wanted to see at the very least was more about the Killzone Vita game in development and a Vita enhanced port of FF Type-0 (wishful thinking on my part). However its good knowing that PlayStation battle Royal is going to get a vita release and that PS1 classics are finally getting on the handheld although the trickle release of titles (probably because Sony is picking through each one for exploits) pisses me off. They also had a short mention of a COD: Black OPs title appearing on the system that sounds like its own independent title but not much else then that.
Overall it was an ok conference, but definitely only stood out with the The Last of Us. I haven't had a game make that strong of an impression on me in a long time and am really looking forward to it.
Hopefully we'll see more vita releases announced at E3, read earlier today something about a new Earth Defense Force is coming to the console too so yay for that.
