Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Beyond and Last of Us looked amazing, but where the F was the Vita pricedrop and tons of Vita games ? I'm starting to get legitimately concerned about Sony supporting the Vita beyond 2013.
The Last of Us looked amazing, with Beyond a game I'm interested in seeing more of before I make a decision on to start getting hyped up about it.
One thing though. I'm already interested in Playstation All Stars so there's that, but I'm pretty pissed off that Sony includes Big Daddy from Bioshock for the sole reason that Infinite is coming out in the near future. With a character from Final Fantasy 13 as garbage as the game may be, I could understand as it's been on the Playstation since Final Fantasy 7, or a character from Assassin's Creed since it was at one time going to be an exclusive title except for Sony's stupidity when the Playstation 3 was still fairly new. I just hope they add as few free advertising filler characters as possible and keep this game with fan favorites both first and third party and characters that could actually represent the Playstation despite how they may be third party(and there's plenty of those.)
For a game originally due in 2011 and then pushed into 2012 quite sometime ago, I find it curious that The Last Guardian doesn't seem to be present at E3.
Was looking forward to seeing more about this project.
Pretty much sums up my feelings as well.
I really love the vita hardware but was expecting some big game announcements and am pretty bummed with what we got. That Assassin's Creed game looks great but the story had broken a bit before E3 so that was no surprise. What I really wanted to see at the very least was more about the Killzone Vita game in development and a Vita enhanced port of FF Type-0 (wishful thinking on my part). However its good knowing that PlayStation battle Royal is going to get a vita release and that PS1 classics are finally getting on the handheld although the trickle release of titles (probably because Sony is picking through each one for exploits) pisses me off. They also had a short mention of a COD: Black OPs title appearing on the system that sounds like its own independent title but not much else then that.
Overall it was an ok conference, but definitely only stood out with the The Last of Us. I haven't had a game make that strong of an impression on me in a long time and am really looking forward to it.
Hopefully we'll see more vita releases announced at E3, read earlier today something about a new Earth Defense Force is coming to the console too so yay for that.

I wonder if there will be more Move exclusive games shown? So far all I have seen is the Book of Spells game and the racing controller. I'm hoping there are some other Move exclusives coming.
There's Move Sports Champions 2 at the very least.

'The Last of Us' looks like a pretty, yet fairly standard video game. Basically, a standard ND title. From what I've seen it's not matching ND's comments from late last year:
"We're trying to move the medium of video games into an area elevated in the same manner of respect of film," Balestra says. "We want to redefine what our medium is even called. 'Video game' is not an accurate name anymore. It is not necessarily a game with rules and a winner and a loser. It's an experience."
While 'Beyond' looked very pretty, I hope it's something "beyond" a glorified point and click adventure.

The Last of Us gameplay looked as cool as I thought it would. Naughty Dog can do no wrong IMO.

No new Syphon Filter? Whyyyyyyyyyyy???? Actually that was expected. It looks like Sony is going to shelve that series this gen. As for their conference, it was ok with the exception of the overly long Storybook presentation. There weren't any real surprises at their conference unless you consider the Assassins Creed PS3 and Vita bundles a surprise. But Beyond looked interesting and I'm of course keeping my eyes on GOW: Ascension and The Last of Us. The demo of The Last of Us didn't really wow me and almost looked like a generic cover based action shooter. But it's still early and I'm willing to give ND the benefit of the doubt because of their pedigree. I just hope they deliver an amazing story.
