Let me know your great memories of this game.
Loved loved LOVED this game. I was starting to get into Dungeons & Dragons and it was the closest to a PC version at the time.
My favorite memory is the awesome "Identify 9, J, S" cheat/glitch.
"I am way too lesbian for that shit."
I loved RPGs, but for some reason I never got around to buying ANY of the Wizardry games. I don't know why that is. Love seeing all the great packaging, though, I miss that.
If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it!
I used to love this game, although I never was able to finish it. I think I barely made it to level 10 but could never really get any traction there. One of the most demoralizing things in gaming is getting a party built up to the point that you feel nearly invincible only to finally run into a certain encounter that doesn't go right and suddenly your guys are slaughtered to the last man and the only thing left to do is start over from square one. One of these days I'll get back to this game and finally win it.
