I have used JJgames.com several times. Awesome...
I'm actually looking for a place to buy game gear games for decent prices.
ebay is your best bet of finding what you are looking for at a ok price. Most online stores jack up the prices far more than ebay.
We have a lot of great sellers selling retro on GameGavel.com
Pretty sure game gavel is a pay site.
If you want a site to trade games on for free use CAG. It's a lot more active then here and free.
You should be able to find people selling retro games discounted to ebay and if you don't have paypal many of them don't either and use money orders. Also good for trading.
You were replying directly to the creater of Game Gavel by the way, it's his site. Game Gavel is another site like ebay, you bid on game items and if you win, you pay for the item along with shipping costs. The seller pays any fees for listing or final sale prices. It's an auction site competing with ebay, but more specialized for video games.
I don't really buy games online, I pretty much stick to local buys.
I am a local buyer if I can. See if you have a play n trade near you. I found a copy of Misadventures of Tron Bonne for 14 bucks. They have great prices. And a wish list.
PnT can be good but also downright awful. Before I moved they had opened up a PnT about a year earlier about 50mi south of where I was and I only hit it twice. The first time I was in the area and found a SNES and a GBA game, common but good and the price was cheap. I went back and second time and it was like the hard to sell for a cent garbage bin hell up on ebay and I asked the counter guy if they had got stuff in lately.
I found out that PnT by franchise choice can setup a computer wait list system and they did that. In the system you can leave your name/number for a game and if they get it in it never hits the floor and you get a call. They don't limit how many games you can waitlist or hold and you can even request more than one copy too. Basically I jokingly asked about Earthbound and they had gotten a couple in recently but went straight to the list which was long as it was on anything of value over like $20 or so. Every collector and known to even them reseller in the area jacked the list up with a huge wait list. I never went back.
