Seems pretty clear to me, man.
You see, in fictional video games like mario brothers, god is the final boss and god is also the main character (aka 'him').
And so, because the protagonist, god, wants to kill the final boss, god, god wants to kill video games, because god kills god.
Whats not to understand?
If you look up "WTF" in the dictionary, there's a link to this thread.

Perhaps this should be moved to offtopic.
Or off the damn site altogether.

⃟Mario says "... if you do drugs, you go to hell before you die."
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
Probably :P
He's been rather quiet on cheap ass gamer, which is another place that he really likes to give me a hard time. I'm pretty sure he tried to register on TCP, but I know virtually everyone on that forum, and even if managed to get registered, he'd last about 5 minutes
As an atheist I deny the existence of this thread.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
Actually, it wasn't the grammar that was the culprit, it was because I forgot to type a single important word that prevented the sentence from being understandable: kill
What I meant is that fictional characters kill God in video games, so God kills video games in real life.
Anyway, I edited my first post.
On topic, I have read about many valuable game collections that have gone up in smoke or stolen but I cannot for some reason find those threads again using Google.
I wonder if it's God working his mysterious ways again...

Shin Megami Tensei is straight up blasphemy yo
Insurance specifically excludes coverage for Acts of God.
Stuff like the story in the OP make me wonder if private collections for irreplaceable items is a really wise idea. Thank goodness for ROM dumps anyway. And make sure your wiring is good, and unplug stuff you aren't using...the same old stuff I always say.

I forgot to write it in my first post but not only did we lose the game collection, the owner suffering burns, and his customers also affected, but the game community lost as a whole because the game owner was planning to properly document all the items he owned (including rare things that have little to no information on the internet).
